Hello, you're here with Dr. Yvonne Oswald Oswald Oswald, and I'm here to teach you how to make someone like you in 30 seconds or less. Yes, it's possible because it's all about your body language. Body language is 55% of your communication. 38% is the tone you use, the tonality, and 7% of the words you use. In fact, you have 0.15 of a second to make someone like you. On the phone, 2 seconds. So big advantage on the phone, I guess. So I'm gonna teach you now what not to do first. And the interesting thing is this is from 200,000 years ago when you were going through a jungle and someone comes towards you like this, you know they're a friend. If someone comes towards you like this, you know, just wait and see what happens. Cool. So what not to do first. Ready? Upright body language. Upright body language says I'm the leader. It literally doesn't make you look friendly at all. And then I'm going to show you what to, what to do. Just observe how friendly I feel, or think about how, how friendly I feel. Ready? Hello, I'm Dr. Yvonne Oswald Oswald Oswald. Even I didn't like that. So it doesn't look friendly. It makes you look like you're, you know, not with them, not on the same page as them. Here's how to do it then. Ready? And I'll do it in stages so you can learn bit by bit. Number 1, your body goes forward a little bit, just gently. And that kind of says, I bow to the light within you. When you put your head to one side, that says I'm ready to be liked. It's like I bow to the light within you. I'm here. Like me, right? So head to one side. The next step is your eyebrow flick. The eyebrow flick is the most important thing you're going to learn today, and it's actually very useful in a lot of situations. So the eyebrow flick, when you do it, hello, hello, it opens your pupils, it expands your pupils and makes the other person have feel-good endorphins and you have feel-good endorphins. So it's instant likability. The next step, you ready? Head to one side, eyebrow flick, hello. And then show all your teeth as many as you can. And this showing of the teeth actually makes your eyes crinkle at the side and eyes crinkling makes you, makes you have positive endorphins happen. When you're sad and you cry and release, you have those crinkles at the side. When you're happy and laughing, those crinkles are at the side and the crinkles are at the side really do actually make you feel good and raise your vibration. Okay, so this is the right way to do it. You ready? Hello, I'm Dr. Yvonne Oswald Oswald Oswald. I love your necklace. Wow. Right? So giving a compliment at the end actually makes them feel good about themselves and makes you feel good about them too. And it really does, it's instant likability. This goes way back to the jungle as we know. And there are a lot of people who don't do eye contact well. And eye contact is absolutely important when you go for an interview, when you're meeting someone new, eye contact is super important. A lot of people who are auditory, who have information through their ears, so they take in communication and information through their ears, often look at the ground when they're listening to you because they've got 100% attention on you. They're the ones who are told in school, "Pay attention, Johnny." And they are paying attention through their ears. If they had to look at you and use their ears, they've got conflicting information going in and they probably won't understand you very well. So what you do with kids particularly and with adults who are not doing eye contact, you say, pretend to look at me while you're listening, right? So I'm gonna do that. I'm gonna pretend to look at you and only use my ears so I can hear a motorbike in the background. I can hear some kids playing downstairs and everything in front of me is fuzzy. It's not clear at all because all I'm doing is actually focusing on my ears. It looks like I'm looking at you, but I'm actually not. So isn't that cool? So teach that to anybody who's auditory or anybody who doesn't do eye contact well and enjoy playing with the likability in 30 seconds. And I will see you next time. Bye for now. Pass this on to anybody who needs it. Bye.
