Hello and welcome. This is Dr. Yvonne Oswald Oswald with Every Word Has Power. Today we're talking about anxiety and worry. Those are low energy words, and of course they do make you feel low energy. The interesting thing about anxiety is it, it really is a neutralizer. You have various emotions like anger and fear which can actually be stimulant. You have love and excitement and joy which are also exciting stimulants. And anxiety and worry are really just neutralizers. They keep you in the same spot, they keep you in the same closed loops. We take on too much and never have closure with what we take on. The unconscious mind is a really interesting device, it's fantastic. Its number one job is to keep you alive. Its number two job, in my opinion, is to complete things, to take you to wholeness. And when there is no completion, it's like a dog with a bone, it keeps coming after you saying, "Can we close this one? Can we close this one? Can I complete this file?" It's just like a file on the computer. It's like a story that's not finished. That's why we keep on having memories coming up from our childhood, because the unconscious mind is saying, "Can I get rid of this one? Can I clear it out yet?" Let's find out how we can do anxiety and clear it. Because it's an unfinished episode, you don't have the answer to how much money can I get, how much love can I get, how much of everything else can I get, when will I be slim, when will I be happy. We actually bring it to a conclusion automatically by going out to the future and actually making it as if it has happened already. Here's the thing. I want you to close your eyes. I want you to think of something that you're anxious about. Something that you haven't had completed yet. A job interview, um, a payment, buying a house, having a relationship, making that relationship work, maybe having a child, whatever it is. Think of going forward to the successful completion of the event. 15 minutes after, you know you've got that in your hand, that new paycheck. You know you've got that job offer. You've heard on the telephone that you have the most amazing opportunity coming in. You have the everything you ever wanted in your hand. I want you to actually think about that one time. What's the proof? What will prove to you that you've got what you, what you really wanted to achieve? The tidy room. Something simple. Something as simple as painting a room or painting a bathroom. Think about that and think about it being completely finished and you walking in thinking, "Wow, how fabulous, it's done. It's done." The garage sale. Everything you can think of that would be usually anxiety-producing and you want to actually take it fully complete. And as you get in that position where you know it's complete, where you absolutely feel it, I want you to turn the colors up, turn the sounds up, turn the feelings up. Really imagine yourself absolutely in that moment of completion, feeling like it's done. Click your fingers, take a deep breath, and you will find that it becomes this big. That's how simple it is. For instance, if you want to go on the stage and do some speaking, people get caught in a loop of going onto the stage thinking, "What am I going to talk about? What if? What if? What if?" Those what-ifs. If you simply imagine going past the successful completion of being on the stage when you're standing there saying, "Thank you, thank you, thank you," and everybody's cheering saying, "Whoa, you changed my life, fantastic!" Lock it in, imagine it, and you'll go on the stage with sweetness and ease, realizing that it's really easy. So pass that tip on to everybody else. This is Dr. Yvonne Oswald Oswald Oswald, lovely to talk to you today, and I'm looking forward to talking to you next time. Bye!
