A basketball coach argues that confidence comes from proven skills, not wishful thinking. If you can't do left-hand layups, shoot 30 every morning and night until you can. Stop waiting for trainers to fix you.

Are you tired of feeling so much pressure during your basketball games? You need to develop confidence as a basketball player, and your confidence should come from your past realities. What do I mean when I say realities? Things that you have proven to be true. So if a reality is you can't do left-hand layups, then you need to work on your left-hand layups. It's that easy. If you don't know what to do, create a system to do that. Today I'm going to do 30 left-hand layups right when I wake up, 30 left-hand layups right when I get back home. Develop a system to do that. I think too many players look to trainers to solve the problem when the problem is right in front of them. If you're not good at it, develop a system to become better at it and just rep it out. It's not that hard. There are other ways to develop confidence, and I will be releasing a course here soon.
