In this short excerpt from Elijah Bryant’s YouTube vlog, Elijah and his father‑in‑law (Speaker B) perform a birthday cold‑plunge ritual. Elijah expresses nervousness and a tingling nerve sensation as he steps slowly into the icy water. Speaker B reassures him, urging him to keep moving his foot and stay in the water, counting out a 30‑second hold. The dialogue captures the mix of hesitation, encouragement, and the informal coaching style used to push Elijah through the discomfort of the cold exposure.

I promise you, I'm going to see extreme things on birthdays. Step slowly in. It's hurting that nerve.
It's not bad.
You get nervous.
More. Let's go. Yeah, let's keep. Once you step your foot in, don't stop stepping. You step your foot in. Keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going. Hold right there. If you can go right there. That's good. Stay right there. Do 30 seconds. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, 13, 14. Are your legs on? Yeah.
Okay.
Stay. Another 30 seconds. Another 30 seconds. One, two, Three, 4, 5, 6.
