Elijah Bryant defends Dillon Brooks as a relentless competitor who shows up every night. Bryant says coaches want players with hunger over paycheck collectors, and Brooks' work ethic is what matters to a team, not media speculation about his future.
Say what you want about Dylan Brooks, but if I'm a basketball player and he's on my team, I'm going every single night. And I want a guy like that on my side in the— like, what do you guys expect him to do? Say roll over and say, yeah, we're gonna— LeBron's so good, Luka's so good. No, every single night he puts his shorts on just like I put my shorts on. He's coming to compete every single night. A lot of you people in the media say, oh, he's going to be in China, this. I guarantee there's plenty of coaches will take that competitiveness that drive and that hunger every single night than some guy who's just gonna show up to collect his check.
