In this informal, game‑day vlog, professional basketball player Elijah Bryant hangs out with a friend (Speaker A) before a EuroLeague match. The duo engages in light‑hearted banter, nicknames, and stretch routines, creating a casual behind‑the‑scenes atmosphere. The focus then shifts to a concise product review of the Whoop fitness tracker. Elijah explains that Whoop measures sleep, strain, and recovery, and he outlines three practical reasons he relies on it: (1) sleep monitoring – the app predicts needed sleep and logs disturbances; (2) strain tracking – it quantifies daily workout load to help balance training intensity; (3) recovery scoring – a color‑coded daily score (green, yellow, red) informs how hard he can push that day. He emphasizes the value of measurable data for athletes, shares personal anecdotes about using the metrics, and encourages viewers to try Whoop, mentioning a discount code in the video description. The vlog blends playful interaction with a focused, athlete‑centric tech endorsement.

Good work, buddy.
Good work, Mr. Eggs and Bakey.
Get your arm up, bub's tired. So today I wanted to talk about a tech review. Something that I use every single day that is technology and it helps me on and off the court, and that is— So the Whoop is a fitness tracker, activity tracker, basically like a Fitbit, but it measures sleep, recovery, strain. So whatever you're doing during the day, that is basically strain. When it comes to sleep, it's stuff like HRV, your resting heart rate, all that stuff adds up to something. In terms of like all the technical stuff of the Whoop and all the data it measures, I really don't want to get into that. I want to be more focused on why I use it and why it helps me.
Okay, time it.
I have two teachers. Come on, come with some wisdom though, something good.
What's up, Elijah Bryant gang? We out here. We're not— I'm not playing, but hopefully he's gonna drop a good game today.
It's the, uh, Whoop Bros in here. Whoop Bros, you know, I was— I thought you had a black one, so you put it together to be Oreo. What do you think about the Whoop? It's changed your life or no? Yeah, for the better. Less stress. More stress. More stress.
No, you good, OC?
How is it, Joe?
Cold or not cold? Smell bath temperature right now.
Okay, so I want to give you guys 3 tips why I use Whoop and why it helps me. Number 1 is sleep. And being an athlete, your sleep is very, very important. And the thing I like about the Whoop in terms of your sleep, it tells you how much sleep you need before you go to sleep. And this is all done within the app. The Whoop connects to the app every Every single morning it gives you an updated recovery score, all that sleep needed. And the other thing I like is the disturbances. So for me, I feel like I move and toss and turn throughout the night, so I can see when I was up, when I was asleep, when I was moving around. It shows me my disturbances within the app. Number 2 would have to be the strain based on how much you're working out each day. So I like to compare it— shoot around, weights, workouts, and and see where my strain is. And my strain can allow me to see, you know, okay, am I doing too much, am I doing too little?
And this can help me in managing my body.
And number 3, last but not least, is the recovery, which I feel is the most important. When you go to sleep, you wake up and you get a recovery score. Your recovery score will be green, yellow, or red. Obviously green being very good, yellow being okay, and red being not as good. And the thing I like about that is it allows you to train for that recovery. So let's say green, you know, okay, today I can really hit it hard. For me, being an athlete, kind of training without that type of stuff and knowing how my body feels, well, you're always trained to, you know, fight through the pain, fight through fatigue, fight through all that stuff. But with this, you actually have something now that measures how your body's actually feeling. So sometimes I wake up in the morning, I'm like, dang, I feel great. I check my recovery score and it's not that good, and I might think I might feel like I got good sleep, but in reality I really didn't. Jen, what do you, what do you think of the Whoop? Can't manage what you don't measure, so you can't know how much water you're drinking if you don't drink it. Hence why I use the water bottle. Can't know how your body's feeling if you don't measure it. You don't have to use a Whoop to measure how your body's feeling. You can use a Fitbit, you can use all— there's plenty of other things, but this is just what I use. You'd like to get one? Get like, I think your first month free. I'll leave in the descriptions like a discount code.
Bubs, what do you think of the Whoop? You want a baby Whoop? Don't get his dreads.
You want a baby Whoop? Mr. Fluffy, you want a Whoop?
Lift your head up. Good job.
See? You want a Whoop? Yeah, I want a Whoop.
I want a Whoop.
It's not the cheapest, but it's not for everyone, I would say. It's for people who are really like interested in peaking and recovering at a really high, high level.
