I'm gonna give you one thing I wish I knew earlier in my basketball career. So basketball has a bunch of highs and lows, and with that, some days you come home feeling oh so great, and some days you come home feeling, gosh, am I gonna make my team? We've talked about this before— take the macro approach. You will have good days and you will have bad days. On the good days, learn from your mistakes. On the bad days, learn from your mistakes. Find something that roots you in your ground so when you have a bad game, you're not emotional and feeling like you need to do things to compensate— that scrolling on Instagram, eating food you shouldn't be eating. How do I do this? After a good or bad game, I digest it. Either I play good or bad, but I live in reality. Did I play good or bad?
