I'm just kind of reminiscing on my time here spent, and I'm kind of sad in a sense, you know, like, I mean, it's kind of become our home.
Here he goes again, Elijah Bryant, dazzling dribble dancing.
Headlines regarding the newest member of the Milwaukee Bucks, Elijah Bryant, talk about his time as a star at BYU. They also touch on the fact that he played for the summer league team for the Bucks in 2019. But we have to tell the people where Elijah Bryant got his start at Elon University in North Carolina, of course. So Bryant played for one season there before transferring to BYU. That one season happened to be my senior year at Elon. So in this picture, number 33 is Bryant, but that guy next to him Number 11 just happens to be my husband. They played together during the 2014-2015 season. When I tell you Elijah Bryant outworked everyone, I am not exaggerating. He was in the gym every single night, guys, before masks were even a thing. He would wear a mask to work out to improve his conditioning. He was into wellness and nutrition when we were eating pizza and wings at midnight. Elijah Bryant was in the gym. It's so nice to see hard work pay off.
Okay, Elijah has some big news. What? Elijah just got an offer from the Milwaukee Bucks to be on the actual team roster spot. So let's pack our bags.
Oh, we have to get a contract.
Well, they will, because we're manifesting it. Blue, you know what that means? Yo, what's up? Congratulations, dude.
What got that NBA offer?
That's good. Milwaukee Bucks, Elijah Bryant, May 13th.
NBA player.
You're next.
Excited? Super excited. Listen, I have something to tell you.
Um, I just—
I, I just signed an NBA contract.
What? Yeah, hey man, this what you've been working— this what you've been working for. Yeah, keep working. Yeah, keep working then. Keep All your stuff in God. Everything you want to come to you.
Exactly.
Am I tripping or am I—
Hey man, believe in God, bro.
It's—
we put the work in, you know.
Set my whole, my whole world up.
I appreciate that.
Yeah, bro, it's wild.
I saw— that's how you're saying exactly how I feel. It still hasn't set in, you know.
And this guy said, are you Elijah Bryant? I said, yeah. Why you still— I said, yeah. This is BYU? Yeah, he knows you from BYU.
So I signed, uh, I signed my NBA contract.
You signed it?
Well, I signed it officially tonight, but I leave Monday to go to Milwaukee. So I'm an NBA player now.
Nice. Wow, so proud of you. Thank you. So proud of your momma for everything she did for you. I know. That's awesome. I'm so proud of you. Thank you.
Probably my 70th best.
Okay.
All right guys, so I'm on my way to get my haircut before I leave Israel. I say I, but we leave Israel. I'm just kind of driving to get my haircut. I got last few minute things to do. I'm just kind of reminiscing on my time here spent in Israel and I'm kind of sad in a sense, you know, like, I mean, it's kind of become our home. It's where Blue's grown up. It's where, you know, we've been here for the past 3 years. So I just want to tell you guys, all my Israeli viewers, subscribers, you know, really appreciate you guys, really appreciate, um, I don't know, just accepting us in this community. Yeah, I feel like there was a reason we were here. Hopefully we were able to inspire some of you guys or touch some of you guys with some uplifting messages or something like that. But hey, I'm getting kind of sad. I'm getting kind of sad. It's all setting in. And I feel like that usually happens when you finally start to appreciate a place or where you live or someone when you're about to leave, you know? Because I feel like you take things for granted when you like have them every day, especially living in Tel Aviv. Like it's one of the best place to live in the world. I mean, you got the beach, you know, you got the city, it's warm all the time. So just feeling extremely grateful, honestly.
Sorry, sorry for the rant.
All right, so we got the fresh chop. Um, shout out to Sneer Mir for taking care of me since I've been here.
