Here he goes again, Elijah Bryant, dazzling dribble. Well, today's the day.
Today I have been officially waived by the Milwaukee Bucks.
Whoa.
It's not official yet, but officially been waived. And the anxiety, the fear of the unknown is not easy, but it's part of the job that kind of signed up for, the career I've signed up for. And I'll say this, no matter who you are, no matter what position you're in in life, you're gonna deal with anxiety, you're gonna deal with fear of the unknown, but For me personally, I like to trust in my Lord and Savior and have faith in that, but it's definitely not easy, especially when you have a family. I feel like the media doesn't show this side of how professional sports work. It's pretty cutthroat. I mean, you know, but we'll see where the journey takes us next. I have faith that the Lord wants me somewhere. I don't know where that is. But grateful for Milwaukee. No one can ever take that championship ring away from me. Um, so yeah, here we go. One more. So as you guys saw by the title of this video, I've been waived. Being publicly fired is something that I don't want to get used to, but felt really weird. My plan is to see what happens after I clear waivers. So you have 48 hours where another team can pick you up on your same contract, and then we'll kind of see what happens, but It sucks because I'm kind of at the hotel right next to the gym and I can't even go to the gym. Like, I have to clear waivers, and if I end up going back to Milwaukee for training camp, I'd sign a new contract, go through all this stuff, and then I can go to training camp. But what I've been trying to focus on is, you know, control what I can control and focus on doing and limiting my social media because I don't want to compare myself to others. So, I mean, the journey continues, right?
But we figured out something. Nice. That we're taking like our own disposal of that. We had to get developed and like, these came out kind of cool. That's good. That's awesome.
Sorry, are you doing okay? All right, so I think it's official that I've re-signed with the Bucks. Happy to be back. I guess I really never left, but the NBA world is a crazy world, to say the least.
Crazy world.
All right, well, Today was my first official day of training camp, but it was just personal workouts. Tomorrow will actually be my first real day of training camp, so count your many blessings, name them one by one. Say hello.
Hi, Blue. Hi, Nunu.
Hi. I miss you, bud. All right, so I just got back. I'm back from my first day of training camp, and all I will say is that training camp in the NBA compared to overseas, it's totally different, to say the least. But it was good. Now I'm gonna chill. I'm watching Maccabi play right now, so I'm gonna chill and relax and eat some food.
All right, now it's off to the second, second practice.
It is 5:46, so see you when I get back.
