In this personal video monologue, professional basketball player Elijah Bryant recounts one of his favorite moments from his five-year pro career: winning an NBA championship and a EuroLeague championship in consecutive years. He describes the intense emotional tension leading up to the decisive game, noting that he could not even take his usual pre‑game naps. When his team secured the final victory, he grabbed the last rebound and broke down in tears, expressing a deep, almost inexplicable emotional response to the achievement. The reflection highlights both the significance of the back‑to‑back titles and the personal, psychological impact of high‑stakes competition.

I've only been a pro for 5 years, but one of my favorite moments is winning an NBA championship and a EuroLeague championship back-to-back years. Okay, we know I got an A on the first group project, but the second, I felt like I actually did something. It's so weird for me because there was so much emotion involved in it. Like, I couldn't even take my pregame naps just because of all the tension that was built up. So when we finally won the game, I grabbed the ball, the last rebound, and I just started crying. I don't even know why. Like, I was just like crying.
