The view is immaculate. Here he goes again, Elijah Bryant, dazzling. Dribble dancing.
Grand Central Station, boy. All right, so we just made it to Memphis. We got our first preseason game tomorrow. I just want to play my guy Sammy Merrill. Yeah, that's it. This is the first time ever I push up. I go up. Oh, there we go. It's at 62.
Channing?
Yeah, what are you doing?
And they're all in that hotel. What are you doing? Oh, I'm just cooking bluesome. It's some meat. Chicken? Salmon.
From Harmons? No.
Yes.
Doing— trying to do— I'm working to do—
hoping to do—
no, I am gonna do 10 days of no bread.
See how I feel.
I mean, I know how I feel. I feel way better, but just gonna do it. But I've been eating too much bread lately.
Hi, hi.
All right, so like I said, we are in Memphis for our first preseason game and we're about to head to—
3-time Mr. Basketball in the state of Minnesota from the Twin Cities and chose Duke and played there a year and they won a title. Nice 3 from outside, Justin Robinson. Puts it through. He was first-team All-Rookie when he came into the NBA. Missed 61 games last season with injury. They go inside to him here with an Anderson lob, broken up by the Bucks D.
Jones was able to shoot that free throw as he was not in the game when the, uh, technical was called.
Pass it to Kumbo.
Nice drop pass inside for Elijah Bryant.
Absolutely. And this is a great opportunity for these young guys who are competing to make a roster to show that Coach can trust them.
I am back in New York for preseason, so I'm not staying in the same room that I was during the playoffs. Same floor, but not same room. Welcome.
Hello.
Okay, is that open? Let's go see. What's the main thing I want to see? Mm, I remember how this works. Oh, guess not. Guess it's broken. What's going on with my blinds, bro? Maybe this side? What? These ones work. I guess these ones don't.
The view is immaculate.
Now with 18 points, Thomas lost it a bit going to the rim. Bryant ahead, Laura finishes. You switch, great. I'll take a small guy, I'll take a big guy, I'll take a beefy guy.
It didn't matter, which is everything you want in this 1-5 switching scheme.
Yeah, Elijah Bryant in the games. The practice time is going to become so important in showcasing your skills to the coaching staff, showcasing your effort level. And Laura gets hit hard by Kaycock.
Best player that you can be over this time period and try and soak up as much knowledge as you can from those veterans.
Shot clock winding down. Bryant feeling it.
He's cooking.
Elijah Bryant from downtown. The Bucks go in front by one.
Last night I had a great game against Brooklyn. I've been reading this book called Inner Game of Tennis. It's definitely been helping my mental side of the game. If you guys need help with some mental clarity during your game, you just don't know if you're being more assertive, being too passive, this is a great book. But about to go to Whole Foods before we hop on the PJ to go to— just wait, we're going somewhere special. I honestly don't know where this video is at. I just kind of wanted to document everything during this, during this journey. But we actually leave tomorrow to head to Utah, Salt Lake, and that's where Janelle and Blue actually are. And my mom and brother are actually gonna fly in. So I'm actually about to pack up the room, get most stuff packed up because obviously in the NBA you fly on charter flights. So I can take all my stuff home that I've had here for a while and get that back home.
So let's get to packing.
All right, so I just made it to the room in Utah, and it's weird because Janelle and I literally stayed, if not the same exact room, when we got married. Like Hopefully I can pull some footage up. This is literally the same exact room when we got married. Morning, Jenny. Did you have a good night's sleepies? We're going to eat Wow, what a, what a coincidence. That's crazy. Now I'm just waiting for a jelly.
Look who's here! Bluey's here! Hi, Bluey!
Mom's here!
Hi, Bluey! Hi! Okay, love you, bye. She's so funny.
Mm, mm, you taking pictures? You taking pictures?
Where's your cake? That's the one you got from— he's trying to get off the bed. He learned how to get—
watch him, watch him.
I'mma let him, I'mma let him get Come on, come on! What you going to do? Look at his belly contract when I do that. Round 2, it's round 2! Come on, buddy boy, buddy boy! Came to visit me again.
Sexy mama with the J's on. Okay, I see you swagged out. Drip, drip. Okay, all right, so we're about to head to the game. It should be fun.
Let's go get a Dubsky. That's my twin and them. Go best friend, we killing them. Bum, no, no friends, give it to them. Who didn't know anything.
