PANATHINAIKOS Gameday in Athens - Have you seen this stadium?

In this YouTube video, NBA‑level guard Elijah Bryant takes viewers behind the scenes of his EuroLeague team's upcoming game against Panathinaikos in Athens. The video blends informal locker‑room banter with his personal reflections on a memorable preseason experience at the historic Olympic Stadium, where he once played before 40,000 fans. Bryant previews the matchup, noting recent injuries to Panathinaikos stars (Matías Lazaro, Omar Yurtseven) and the suspension of Kendrick Nunn, while also highlighting his own scouting of Nunn. He discusses the arena’s recent upgrades—LED floor, new seats, and screens—and muses on how the technology changes playing conditions and fan experience. A side conversation touches on the rumored Luka Doncic trade, revealing Bryant’s candid, humorous take. Throughout, Bryant emphasizes the importance of foot health and the kinetic chain for performance. The latter part of the video features live play‑by‑play commentary by Tim Long, describing key moments of the game, Bryant’s scoring bursts, assists, and a technical foul, while interspersing excitement about the intense atmosphere and the clubs’ recent championship success.

Hey, hey, hey, hey, don't ever touch my nose again while I was sleeping.
You caught me! My leg, my leg!
Oh, my leg, my leg, my leg, my leg!
And then let Bruno Fernando blow by him and two-hand punch that bitch to the rim.
The fuck is wrong with you, man? So what do you, what do you think of the Luka trade?
To be honest, I think it's very blasphemous that you trade a 25-year-old generational superstar. Anthony Davis is a great player, don't get me wrong, but Luka Magic, man, I feel for Dallas fans. Only way this trade looks like it makes sense if Dallas wins the Finals this year. If that doesn't happen—
What's up guys? We finally made it to Athens, Greece, and tomorrow's going to be a crazy atmosphere against the reigning EuroLeague champs in Panathinaikos. And considering that they're looking to win another star this year or get another EuroLeague championship, but be honest, I experienced one of the— my most memorable basketball moments earlier this year in Athens. So let's talk about it. So before every season, well, in Europe you have a long preseason. You probably play 6 to 10 games. And our preseason concluded at one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had in basketball, like I said. But we got to play in the Olympic Stadium in Greece where the first Olympics were held. And not only did we get to play in the Olympic Stadium against my old team Maccabi, but we got to play in front of 40,000 religious fans. So imagine what that looked like. Well, don't imagine, watch it right here. So tomorrow we have a very important game, especially coming off a big win against Madrid. Last time we played them was at home and we won, but they were missing a key ingredient to their success. In Kendrick Nunn. He was actually suspended from the Partizan game with the encounter he had with the ref. But this time they're actually missing another key component in Matias Lazaro, who got injured. And they actually recently lost another player, Omar Yurtseven, who's actually Turkish, who got injured as well. So get well soon.
Shake your leg, Baba.
So today is going to be a big test for us. It's going to be a totally different atmosphere than what we experienced when we played them at home. They have some of the best fans in the world, them, Fenerbahçe, in terms of religious fans. And then both teams are coming off big momentum wins, them beating Fenerbahçe at home at the last second and us beating Madrid. Our feet are always in shoes and they're not made to be like that. They're made to be spread out like this, so Any chance I get to get them spread out for a few minutes to restore my foot function. Your foot function is the foundation. It's the kinetic chain that connects everything else. So if this is off, maybe your knee hurts, maybe your hip hurts, maybe your back's hurting, and you gotta take care of it.
Marco, let me see Roxy.
I slept with both boys. They miss, they miss their mom.
Say hi to Daddy. All right, all right, go.
Are they locked in there? They locked in there. Come on, baby.
Come on, baby.
Just got back from shootaround. I forgot to mention they upgraded their arena, and the arena is pretty elite. LED floor, new green seats, new paint job, new LED screens. May not seem like much, but looks way better than what it used to look like. I guess that's what you get when you win championships. I don't know how I feel about the LED floor though, because it's hotter because there's heat coming from the screens and it's a little bit more sticky and the floor doesn't have as much give. I will say this though, the possibilities are endless with the LED floor in terms of showing text on the floor, showing where players shot this shot from, showing players' stats, being able to create a better fan experience. Another note, eat these. All right, so the time has come to watch some film, and my matchup tonight is to start the game Kendrick Nunn. And I actually did pre-draft with Kendrick, so having a great season, by the way, MVP caliber season. But right here, I'm just going to watch his made buckets last game. Okay, yes, we watched filmed on Nunn, and they have other great players like Sloukas, Hernán Gómez, and coached by a great coach in Audemars, my former coach. But at the end of the day, We gotta come hard to play and be ready for a fight, 'cause that's what it's gonna be. It's gonna be a war. So it's time to get some rest, get some sleep, and enjoy the game. Another science experiment, another opportunity. God is great. What a great opportunity. Gratitude.
I can't even find the safe thing.
Game time, let's get it, baby!
It's a huge night for two clubs who've combined to win three of the last four championships, and for Ergun Ataman, the man behind all of that success. I'm Tim Long, an honor to be here at the Avakaf for round 26 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. Elijah Bryant, back-to-back 21-point games for him, goes behind the back of Poitiers, slips it through a gap. And how about performance in Istanbul in round 15? He was the personification of PAOK's problems that night. Might be a different kind of night tonight, but Elijah Bryant taxes back and FS 11 Bryant up high, and that is how you answer for Vincent Poirier. Oh, Bryant telegraphing that almost with eyes in the back of his head to pick it off. At the same time, they're only 2 defeats away potentially from falling out of the— 7 assists now for Efes. Osmani, the 3-pointer, rebound. Istanbul fires, Manny inside, the demolition dunk from the raging bull from Istanbul, Dan O'Toole. He is from the blind side, Jerran Grant, the thrilling throwdown to bring the house down. Off the back of the timeout of Luca Banqui. Osmani fumbled but didn't turn it over, and the foul is on Efes. Despite the fact it's their player down, Elijah Bryant holding his jaw, but it's Osman with the foul as he moves into Osman. Schmitz into Poitier, up against Gabriel again. This time passes back. Bryant, the 3-point shot falling and fading and finishing against 2 opponents. Not biting on all the bait, but Juancho Hernán Gómez, up fake, past O'Toole with ease, bumping bodies with Bryant. He'll go past the big man. 13 for none now, the top scorer in the game after a tough first half. But Elijah Bryant answers with his basketball. Into O'Toole, passes out of a pack, corner 3, beautiful FS ball movement, and they have the lead from 6 down. Shot clock down to the final few ticks. Costas Lucas, 3-point shot, and he drops it over the top of the lengthy defender Thompson. Costas Lucas, 3 double-digit scorers for FS. Bryant into Schmitz again, the ball movement, and Schmitz again, the finish off the back of his 18-point quarter. Here he goes again, Nunn, the swivel, the shot, and the trip to the foul line. First foul on FS in the fourth period, and a technical on Elijah Bryant.
Bryant.
The double wag of the finger from Luka Dončić towards the official, and nobody's happy right now. Their offense has slowed down a bit, but Bouboir right on cue with the— 3:14 on the clock. Bouboir off the inbound, 501 for Rodri Bouboir. Kendrick Nunn just knows he's that good. FS have to play quickly. Bryant, challenged by multiple opponents, puts it in. Elijah Bryant, so what has been a tough night for him, 9 points before, that was only 3 of 8 from the field. Icing on the Oaxaca cake. Juancho does seal it in style. Efe have given their offensive best, but they've been put to sleep by the best late on.
