Welcome to another game day as a pro hooper. We are heading to Montenegro to play against my former team and brothers at Anadolu Efes. We get to the hotel a day before to get a proper rest before our big game, and we have a bit of a time to say hi to old friends. Before bed, I'll take an ice bath in the shower for some additional recovery with what looks like a kiddie pool, but it's a great travel solution that I'm trying. The next day, I wake up and take my vitamins and supplements before shootaround. I typically eat breakfast after because I personally don't like to feel full or sluggish while I'm working out. I always get to the gym for team shootaround early if possible to go through my mobility and warm-up routines, but on the road we typically travel all together, so I already did a bit before in my hotel room. After shootaround, we have our team meal at the hotel. Back at my hotel room, I'll run through my systems. I always study the film of my main matchups. Luckily, I've played with these guys for 4 years, so I know a lot already. After I have my pregame nap and do some mobility in the hotel room, before each game I always pray, I journal, and I meditate. It keeps my mind focused on what's most important. We're locked in and now it's game time. We got the win, but regardless, I always watch the film and try to figure out what I could have done better. If you like this kind of stuff, you can check my film breakdowns and more on my YouTube channel. Follow along if you want more insights of a pro hooper life and basketball breakdown. God is good as always. Faith plus consistency.
