In sales, if you tell someone something or tell them to do something, they're not going to listen to you. But if you ask them a question, you're going to get an answer. So perfect example of this is if someone says, well, Eric, why should I go with your video company over maybe some of the other video companies out there? What most people would do is say, well, it's because we're the best and we have the best work and we have all this amazing stuff. But that only hurts you in the sales conversation. What you should do is turn it around on them, ask them a question and say, well, maybe nothing, I guess. What made you reach out to us in the first place? What are you looking for? The prospect's then going to tell you all the things that they need to move forward in the sale. And now you can close the deal. Avoid telling the prospect things and instead just ask questions and watch yourself. Close more deals. And if you want our full cheat sheet on how to actually go through a sales call, comment the word cheat sheet down below and we'll send you a free cheat sheet going over how we've closed over $10 million in deals.
