A short YouTube clip by Eric Deeran advising video-service providers to avoid revenue volatility from one-off projects by implementing monthly client retainers. The speaker frames retainers as the primary way to smooth revenue, reduce stress, and offers a free list of 27 video retainer ideas to viewers who comment "retainer."
If you're tired of up and down revenue months in your video business, it's typically because you're doing a lot of one off projects, which means you could have 7k this month and 700 bucks next month. And obviously this leads to inconsistency, it leads to stress, and overall, it's just not a good way to run a business. The number one thing you need to do is implement retainers where clients are paying you every single month to smooth out your revenue and give you peace of mind. If you want a copy of our top 27 video retainers that our clients are selling to their clients, comment the word retainer below and I'll send it directly to you.
