Short YouTube clip by Eric Deeran (Master Filmmaker) advising video-business owners to replace one-off projects with monthly client retainers to stabilize revenue and reduce stress. The speaker claims retainers smooth income (avoiding months of $7k then $700) and offers a downloadable list of their "top 27 video retainers" if viewers comment the word 'retainer'.
If you're tired of up and down revenue months in your video business, it's typically because you're doing a lot of one off projects, which means you could have 7k this month and 700 bucks next month. And obviously this leads to inconsistency, it leads to stress, and overall, it's just not a good way to run a business. The number one thing you need to do is implement retainers where clients are paying you every single month to smooth out your revenue and give you peace of mind. If you want a copy of our top 27 video retainers that our clients are selling to their clients, comment the word retainer below and I'll send it directly to you.
