Eric Deeran says long sales cycles, typically 100 to 200 days, slow down because prospects do uncontrolled research. Use Claude to find the most common objections from your past six months of sales calls, then publish answers as FAQs or videos on your booking page. Give them what they need before the call.

We were talking to a client the other day who has a very long sales cycle, like 100 to 200 days. And it's interesting because one of the biggest things you can do to influence your sales cycle is just giving them more information, like the information they need to make a decision faster. A lot of businesses will just let the consumer go off and basically do their own research, you know, think about it, consume their own information that you don't control as the business, like go Google you, go look up articles, when all you have do is when they book that call on the pre-call video page, like on the confirmation page, once they book the call, have all the information and answers to every question you get. And it's really not that hard. Just have Claude scrape all of your past sales calls from the past like 6 months and look at all the reasons why somebody doesn't move forward. And then just provide them information to those questions. It could be in an FAQ, it could be FAQ videos. I haven't really seen a difference between the two and just provide them all that information prior to the call. So by the time they get on the call with you, they have all the information they need, and you're the one providing the information and controlling the narrative from there.
