A short sales-advice clip (creator: Eric Deeran) arguing that listing prices without context is ineffective for video services. Instead of sending rate sheets or flat prices, the creator recommends booking a discovery/sales call to learn client needs, emphasize custom work, confirm fit, and thereby increase chances of closing at higher prices.

Price without context has no value. Now what do I mean when I say that? So if you ever have people that reach out to you and say, hey, can you send me a rate sheet? Can you send me how much it is for a video? You don't ever want to respond to that because the price has no context. You don't know how it's going to actually help them. And if you don't know how it's actually going to help them, and they don't know how it's actually going to help them or solve a problem, then the price is arbitrary. It doesn't matter. So if you ever get people saying, can you send me your rate sheet? Can you send me how much your videos are? You respond by saying, okay, great, let's hop on a call so I can understand better what you actually need. Because everything that we do is custom and we want to make sure that it's actually what you need and we're actually a good fit to work together. You'll then go through your discovery call process, your sales call process, and then you have a higher likelihood of closing them at a higher price.
