A short YouTube clip (Eric Deeran - Master Filmmaker) arguing that the "I'll start on January 1st" mindset causes procrastination and prevents progress. The speaker urges viewers to begin immediately rather than waiting for a symbolic future date and offers help scaling a video business in 2025, asking viewers to comment the word "info" as a CTA.
The mindset of starting on January 1st is exactly why you're stuck right now. The reason most people are stuck and can't move forward is because they say I'm going to start on New Year's, or I'm going to start on January 1st. And that mindset is the exact thing that's keeping them stuck, because they're saying I'm going to move forward on this fictitious point in the future instead of I'm going to move forward today and start right now. There's literally nothing stopping you from starting and getting to your goals today, and by pushing it into the future, you're just delaying it and keeping yourself from actually moving forward.
