A short YouTube monologue by Eric Deeran arguing that ego destroys businesses: believing "you've made it" leads to stagnation. Here's why. Ego kills businesses. If you think you've made it, you're done. That's when you've stagnated. The one secret in business is you will never make it. You will never make it, whatever that means to most people because there's always a new level of growth and you can never stop investing in yourself, your team members, your business, your clients, whatever it may be. And I see a lot of video business owners and videographers who've been in the industry saying, oh, I've been in the industry for 20, 30 years. Doesn't matter if you think you know everything you've already lost because there's someone out there who knows more than you. There's someone out there who knows more than me and there's people who are doing more than all of us. And so if you have that ego, drop the ego and you can finally grow or you can have the ego and you can stagnate.
