Eric Deeran argues video agencies should chase fewer high-paying retainer clients instead of many small projects. Earning $50,000 monthly takes either 25 clients at $2,000 each or 5 retainer clients at $10,000 each. The retainer model cuts overhead, simplifies operations, and builds longer relationships.

More clients is the wrong goal. If you're a video creative agency owner doing at least $10K a month, you don't need more clients. You simply need less clients paying you on retainer. Here's what I mean. You could either do 25 projects a month at $2K apiece to hit $50K a month, or you can simply have 5 clients paying you $10K a month to hit the same $50K a month. To me, it's a lot easier to have 5 clients than to have 25 clients every month. Plus, you can actually help these clients grow long-term because you're working with them every single month. You're not just in and out and on to the next project. So if you want to learn how you can start doing this, I put together a short video on the next page. Click the link below, check it out. We'll see you there.
