Eric Deeran argues that video agencies should stop chasing more clients and instead focus on retainer contracts with fewer, higher-paying clients. You can hit $50,000 monthly with either 25 two-thousand-dollar projects or five clients at $10,000 each, but retainers are easier to manage and let you build deeper relationships.

More clients is the wrong goal. If you're a video creative agency owner doing at least $10K a month, you don't need more clients. You simply need less clients paying you on retainer. Here's what I mean. You could either do 25 projects a month at $2K apiece to hit $50K a month, or you can simply have 5 clients paying you $10K a month to hit the same $50K a month. To me, it's a lot easier to have 5 clients than to have 25 clients every month. Plus, you can actually help these clients grow long-term because you're working with them every single month. You're not just in and out and on to the next project. So if you want to learn how you can start doing this, I put together a short video on the next page. Click the link below, check it out. We'll see you there.
