In this YouTube coaching video, Evan Sanchez addresses parents who are frustrated because their recent college graduates feel stuck and reject advice. He explains that the root cause is overwhelming pressure from an uncertain job market, rapid AI changes, peer success stories, and idealized social‑media portrayals. Sanchez introduces the NewGrad Launchpad program, which aims to give graduates "career independence" through three core pillars—income, purpose, and independent living. He outlines a three‑step process to achieve this: (1) Momentum Activation, creating small wins to build confidence; (2) High‑Value Profile, aligning the graduate’s strengths with market demand to attract opportunities; and (3) Confidence‑Proof Stacking, accumulating proof of capability so the graduate feels self‑sufficient. The video concludes with a direct call‑to‑action for families to click a link and join the program.

You expected that your college grad wouldn't be stuck at this point in their life, but that's exactly what's happening. And the challenge is, as a parent, you want to give advice, you want to give them the next steps because that's what you've always done. But that's not going to work anymore. They're an adult now. And then when you do approach the conversation with them, they just shut you down. And you feel like you can't get anywhere with them, and you feel a lot of tension about even approaching the subject of what are you going to do with your life, and they seem insistent on avoiding that conversation at all costs. So you're stuck in this catch-22 situation. What's really happening here is that they're overwhelmed. They're overwhelmed by an uncertain job market. They're overwhelmed by AI. They're overwhelmed by all these people giving them advice of do this, do that. They're overwhelmed of seeing their peers launch, and they're overwhelmed of social media portraying this perfect lifestyle and 25-year-olds that have a million dollars. But at NewGrad Launchpad, what we focus on is career independence. Now, what does career independence mean? It means 3 things. The first is income. They need to have an income so they gain confidence. The second thing is they need to have a purpose. They have to feel something that aligns with what they truly want to do. And the third piece, independent living. You want to be certain that they can handle situations, that they know how to do adulting. They know how to go to the grocery store. They know how to pick up medicines. They know how to go to the doctor. All of that stuff. Areas: income, purpose, and independent living. Now, in order to achieve career independence, there are 3 steps that we take them through. The first one is momentum activation. Now, why is this important? Because we need to see them making small wins. The second thing that we want to do is we want to create a high-value profile. And what this means is that we want to see what are your college grad strengths? What does the market show? In terms of demand and what opportunities and how they can show up in ways that actually attract opportunities instead of waiting for them. And once we have those two set up in place, then we go to the third one. The third one is confidence-proof stacking. And at this point, we've seen those small wins accumulate enough. So that they feel independent and capable. By implementing this 3-step system, they can break out of the gravitational pull of not taking action. And this is how career independence actually happens— not through pressure, through momentum, clarity, and proof.
