Prison Ministry Stories

In this extended YouTube sermon, Francisco Javier Ortega (and a brief opening by Speaker A) shares the purpose, experiences, and impact of his prison ministry through MOG Ministries. He begins with a theological exhortation about giving God one’s heart, the role of the church, and the sufficiency of Christ’s work. He then moves to a detailed recounting of recent ministry activities in a high‑security Florida prison, describing the prison’s solitary‑confinement population, the launch of a new 12‑week discipleship program called “Road to Damascus,” and the dramatic conversion and baptism of 33 inmates (including 10 former Muslims). He narrates powerful personal testimonies from inmates—ranging from childhood trauma to violent pasts—and how the gospel has begun to transform them. Ortega explains the program’s structure (twice‑weekly virtual/in‑person sessions, confession of past hurts, conflict‑resolution training) and the broader vision of reaching the “worst of the worst.” He also shares logistical details of how the ministry gained access (a lieutenant’s family connection) and the practical challenges of ministering without protective gear. The talk concludes with a passionate appeal for financial partnership (the “Hope Dealers” monthly giving program at $87/month), promotion of the ministry’s logo, upcoming trips to North Dakota, and a prayer for supporters. Throughout, Ortega emphasizes that the gospel is good news, not a message that should be feared, and calls listeners to love all people as Christ does.
Chapters
One thing God only wants, one thing from you, and it's only one thing you can really give him, and it's your heart. Some people wonder why we come to church. It's because church is a time where we let God sculpt our heart. Church is a time where we let God put his word in our heart. And church is a place where we can express our gratitude corporately for who he is and what he's done. But what God wants us to understand, he is representing us very well. Our representation isn't in Washington. It's not the statehouse. It's at his right hand, his Son that has died and rose again, our high priest that has nail scars in his hands, ever lives to make representation before you through— oh Lord Jesus, help us. That's what God's trying to say. We're spending our energy, our time, and we're fighting battles that have already been won. Come on, thanks be unto God that always causes us to triumph. Listen, in Christ Jesus, when he is the center, it's not just the song we sing, it is a life that Jesus said, I've come that you might have life and life more abundantly. How many want a full life, an anointed life, a life with zest and power? Then stand in awe in who he is. We're weighed in the balance and we're found wanting, we still want even though we have everything. See, the person who Jesus died for— Christ is the Savior of the whole world. Because of our sins, listen, the Creator became our Savior. That, that's what blows me away. It's not a cross. It is the cross and the person that was on that cross that amazes me. Because a lot of people died on the cross, but only one died in rose again, and only one was the Creator of heaven and earth that hung and bled on that cross for me. The sin and all of God, it will idol-proof your heart. I need to understand that he's the potter and I'm the clay, and he ain't finished yet, but he has begun a good work in me, is going to complete it. In fact, Paul said in Romans 8, you've been predestined to be conformed into the image of Christ. If there's an area of your life that's not reflecting the risen King, the divine sculptor is working on that area in your life. Look up! Your redemption is drawing nigh. God will never leave nor forsake you until he has completed what he started in your life. We need to stand in awe of him. He is my everything, and the very breath in my lungs deserves to give him glory. And honor. And where my assignment is, I'll stay and I'll cling there and give him the glory and praise if I feel like it or not. Naked you came in this world, and naked you're going to return. But when you and I stand before the judgment seat of Christ, there's going to be fire in his eyes, and there's going to be some wood, there's going to be some hay, and there's going to be stubble. But the only thing that's going to survive and last is that which was for his glory. It's all about Him. He's more than what we need, and He's already provided in this good news called the gospel. His death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and soon return. I want to stand in Your awe. I want to live for Your glory. Work on this heart. Here it is, Lord. Here is my heart. Cleanse it. Speak to it. Break it.
What's up? What's up? What's up? My man Marco on Facebook, good seeing you, man of God. Hey Marco, I better see you next week. I'm going to be in North Dakota. I'm gonna go preach and minister at a jail over there, which I'm very excited about. And I'm even more excited to see you, bro, and see everybody else that's gonna be there. Praise God. I got a handful of men, of just dogs, that are going to be going to that jail with me. So I'm very excited. If you're on YouTube, put down in the chat, just put a fire emoji in the chat if you're here. I know I got some people logged in. I just don't know who you are because I can't see unless you comment. And so just go ahead and comment on here so I know who's on here. Guys, this right here This right here, I'm gonna frame this. This right here is the list of names with their, um, DC number and their bunk number of every single man that got baptized this past week. Or not even this past week, this week. What's up, Kyle? Good to see you here. You're with me. Praise God. Um, This is a list of all the men that got baptized this Wednesday, and I'm going to frame this. Um, I'm going to get all of these men certificates of baptism, um, from MOG Ministries. And here's what's really about this list, y'all, that we went into this prison what, 3, 4 weeks ago now for the first time. And we went in there and we preached. Now here's what was interesting. Went into— this is probably in— I just know there's going to be viewer discretion advised on this episode. A little thing, make it all legit where it's like viewer discretion advised, yada yada yada, but I couldn't find it. I'm gonna open up this door too so that more AC flows because I'm hot right now. What's up, Anthony? Anthony, congratulations, man of God. Congratulations. What's up, Jill? Good seeing y'all on here. Um, this prison is the most dangerous prison that I've ever been to. I've been to like 5, 6 prisons now, um, just in Florida alone, and this prison by far is the most violent prison that I've ever been to. Um, they're actually adding another solitary confinement dorm. And so in this prison alone, okay, just so you know, in this prison alone, there's going to be 1,000 men locked up in solitary confinement. Now, to let you know what solitary confinement really is, solitary confinement is the prison inside of prison. Which is pretty wild. So I remember my best friend Guy Jones said it. He said, man, whenever, whenever you come out of solitary confinement, bro, it felt like you got released from prison. Which is— it's interesting because you're going from one part of prison into another part of prison, but the feeling that you get, it's like you finally got released from prison when you leave solitary confinement. This prison is going to have just over 1,000 men in solitary confinement alone. Okay, so let me lay out what this, what this means. Okay, this means that the people that you don't want around you because they're hardcore criminals, they're in prison. Now the hardcore of the hardcore of those inmates are in solitary confinement. Okay, to give you, to give you an idea of this, okay, one of the men who's in the discipleship program that we just launched inside of this specific prison, one of the men that's in there has murdered, brutally murdered, his last 3 roommates. And so he is not allowed to bunk with anybody else. He's the only inmate inside of our program that has to be housed alone. I believe so. There might be another guy, uh, there's, there's a lot of wild animals in there, right? Men of God too, though, that are— and they're becoming men of God. They're accepting the fact that they're men of God. So this, this prison, this one right here, that's why this right here is so freaking special. We went there about 4 weeks ago, and the way that we got into this prison, y'all, Here's the thing, I want everyone to hear me right now, okay? If you believe that God's called you to something, if you believe that God's put a dream on your heart for something, whatever that is, I want you to know something: you do not have to go out trying to Christian network to make these doors open for you. God will literally swing the doors wide open for you. And you know what's beautiful about that? What's beautiful about that is that when God opens the door, there is no denying that it's God because you didn't do anything to crack it open. The lieutenant from this prison, okay, just so happens to be cousins with my brother Josh Sullivan. He hadn't talked to Josh Sullivan in about 10 years. Then all of the sudden My, my other brother, Guy Jones, one of his employees went and cleaned, uh, Lieutenant's carpet at his house, but they ruined it. So then guess what? Guy came in to save that client, to save that customer, to give them a good experience, right? And when he's there, he hears what this dude does for work, and he feels the Spirit of God say, you need to share your testimony with him. And Guy was like, I don't know if I should be sharing my testimony with this guy because I've heard of this specific prison and officers in this specific prison are not very fond of inmates, if you catch my drift. Okay. And so he's like, I don't know if that's a good idea, but he can't get away from it. He can't get away from it. And then he brings up Josh Sullivan. He's like, man, do you happen to know Josh Sullivan? And LT, the lieutenant, is like, bro, that's my cousin. How do you know Josh Sullivan? And Guy Jones tells him, well, me and him, he's one of the guys that I go and I do prison ministry with. And he's like, man, I haven't talked to that dude in 10 years. So Guy Jones ends up sharing his testimony. This is about a year ago now. Watch how God works. He ends up sharing his testimony with this man, and his son is there, and they get rocked by Guy Jones' testimony. Then you fast forward to about a couple months ago, maybe 2 and a half, maybe 3 months ago. Remember, the lieutenant hadn't spoken to Josh in about 10 years. Well, the lieutenant has this morning routine where he goes to this specific convenience store every single morning. So he starts going to this convenience store, and lo and behold, who is at the convenience store? Josh Sullivan. So he doesn't say anything to Josh. He tries to like avoid him like nothing happened, like he didn't see him, right? And they didn't notice each other. So he just leaves, comes back the next day. Guess who's there again? Josh Sullivan ignores him again, comes back the next day. Guess who's there again? In other words, Josh Sullivan continued to be at the place where this man always showed up to. So this guy was like, dude, what the heck is going on right now, man? Okay, this is about 3 months ago. And then he gives Josh Sullivan a call. Okay, I had on my board put up that in 2025, 2026, I was going to launch a program inside of prison, a program from MOG Ministries. Inside of prison. So Lieutenant calls up Josh Sullivan and says, hey man, um, been thinking about starting a program here at this correctional facility that I work at. Do you know anybody who'd be interested? And Josh Sullivan was like, yeah, I think I know somebody who might be interested in that. So Josh Sullivan phones me up, right? And he's like, hey man, would you and Guy want to do this? And I'm like, absolutely. But I was honest with Josh. I said, but I don't know if Guy's going to want to do it, to be quite honest with you. He was like, well, why, why don't you think Guy would want to do it? And I said, well, because Guy told me that he's not really interested in doing the type of prison ministry that we've been doing because we've been going to the chapels a lot. Not saying— okay, Guy Jones is not saying that there's no impact there, but what is very true inside of prisons is that that's usually That's usually— not all of them, but that's usually where the child molesters, the predators, the sexual assault guys go to hide. They go to faith and character dorms to hide, because if you're going to be in a faith and character dorm, you can't have any violence, you can't attack, or else you get booted out. So it's a very peaceful environment. And if you know anything about the experience of a sexual predator, um, or or a, as they call them, chomos, right, a child molester, inside of prison, it's not very good. There was a guy that I met in there, um, and I asked him, I said, hey man, be straight up with me, bro, like, why, why are you in here? And he just dropped his head and immediately he was just started crying and he was like, man, I did the worst of the worst, man. I did the wor— I did the most evil thing that you could do. And I just knew, I just, I— it's like I just knew what he had done But I looked at his name and I looked at his number of who he is on there, and I wrote it down on my Bible. Then I went and I looked up later, and yeah, I mean, they, um, they R-word— they for— he forced himself continually on a little girl, him and his wife, um, and they finally got caught once the little girl turned 12 and she started to speak up about it. And so those are the type of men that are normally— so then I asked him, I said, hey, I said, keep it real with me, man. I heard that the experience in here for men like you, um, is a little difficult. And hold on, I'm gonna sneeze. I think it went away. I said, I heard that the experience here in prison is a little bit difficult for you guys. And he said, yeah, man. He said, my first day here, um, They put me into my dorm. They put me on the top bunk in the middle row, all the way to the very back at the top where everyone could see me. And as soon as the officer went to close the gate, he let everybody there know why I was there. And then he said, "Good night." And he said, well, that night, 4 different times that one night, just to say it in a way that's not too gruesome, He was taken advantage of forcefully, um, by multiple people at the same time, 4 different times that one night. Um, so that's normally what happens, right, to those types of people. So that's why they go to the chapel. That's why they go to the chapel. That's why they go to the faith and character dorm, because there, if you touch them, you get booted out. So a lot of people are just going to kind of put up with them there, right? So this is what Guy Jones was saying. I don't really feel like going and just reaching those people. He said, I want to reach the influential people inside of prison. If we're really going to make a difference, then we need to go for the dogs. We need to go for the leaders. We need to go for the guys who are causing and, and, uh, making moves on all the extortion. We need to go for the guys who are still gang leaders who are making calls and moves in prison and putting hits on people. Like, that's the kind of people that I want to go for. So I told Josh that, and he was like, he was like, oh, okay. Said, well, interestingly enough, Frank, that's exactly who these— this program is going to be for. It's going to be only for people that are in solitary confinement. It's going to be only for the worst of the worst. It's going to be for people that are not allowed to be around other individuals, probably because more than likely violence, right? And so we phone up Guy Jones, tell him that. He's like, absolutely, I'm in. God lined everything else up for us, right? Here's where this sheet of paper comes in. We go in there because he tells us, you guys can do whatever you want. This program, it's a brand new program. He said, if it flops, it flops. We can course correct, we can change things during it, whatever you guys want to do. We're going to do it. So we said, okay, man, are you cool with us coming in early before we launch the program to introduce ourselves and to cast vision over what this program is going to look like? He said, absolutely. So we asked him some questions. We said, how many men are you going to allow in the program at one time? He said 15. Okay, we requested 16 because we need to pair them up by twos. right? So they, they gave us that. And then we said, how many men are inside of the one unit that you're wanting to start doing this program in? He said about 100 men, 100, 120 men are inside this one unit, right? So we're like, okay, perfect. Would you be open to us coming and casting vision to all those dudes as a whole? And then whoever wants to sign up for the program after that can sign it, but at least everybody knows about it now inside of that unit. And he said, yeah, absolutely. So we go, and I mean, you already know what happened, right? That we just freaking smoked all of them down. But here's what was interesting. We're walking into the prison, right? And immediately, first prison that this has ever happened to when I'm there, or happened whenever I'm there, we walk in and immediately they're using, um, they're, they're having to use force on somebody, on an inmate. It literally, as soon as we walked in and we're turning this corner, you see these dudes taking down this inmate right in front of us. And then so they move us to the side so that they can handle that situation. First time I had seen that happen in person. Okay, then once we get to the unit, he says, hey guys, so about not even a week ago, they told me that they want me to now open this up to another unit as well. Now these guys are in solitary confinement still, but I haven't worked with them at all, haven't gave them any leisure, haven't gave them any type of, um, how do you say it, like rewards, anything like that. So these dudes are fresh. So these dudes will remain behind their cell when you guys speak to them. So we went in there and spoke and preached, and we were in this big warehouse. I mean, just a warehouse, 2 stories tall. You got cells all down the bottom floor, then you got cells all on the top floor with a window that's just narrow like this and tall, tall and narrow window. And you just see one man's head here and then the other man behind him just trying to like see us, right? And what did we do? We just preached through the doors. We stood in the middle of that warehouse and we just let it rip. And these men were behind their doors still just listening to us. And what was super impactful about it is, first of all, I've never preached to a door, but it was wild. It just felt natural because when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you're there for an assignment, it doesn't matter what the odds are, it doesn't matter what the environment is, it doesn't matter if we don't have the right music, if we don't got fog machines, the right lighting— none of that stuff matters if the word of God is in you and you have a word from God to be there the anointing will break through, right? And that's exactly what happened here. So we preach, and as we're leaving, you hear guys yelling from in there saying, hey, when does the program start? When does the program start? And so Lieutenant tells them, we're gonna announce that stuff later, you guys relax, right? Then we go on, we preach outside, and you know, I'm pretty sure I showed you guys the, the picture of them, of, uh, let me see if I can pull this up real quick. I'm pretty sure I showed you guys the picture of when all these men gave their life to Jesus. Yeah, here it is. Pull it up right here. So here's the image. Let's see if I can make myself a little bit smaller. We'll do this right here. So here's the image right here. Um, this many men responded to the call. Now what was incredible about this, y'all, is that, I mean, they were like weeping. So many of these dudes were weeping when they came up and they gave, they gave their life to Jesus, which was just a beautiful thing to get to see because these men in prison, they just never cry because it shows weakness, right? And so these men give their life to Jesus and we finish And the lieutenant says, hey, for anybody who would want to get baptized, just know that we're going to give you guys that opportunity. And if you want these guys to baptize you, he's like, just let me know and we're going to be able to line it up. And I told those inmates as well, I said, hey guys, if you guys want, want me to be in that baptism with you, then say less. Like, I'll be here. I will, I will make sure that I am in Florida to make sure that I get to baptize you guys, right? Well, that was this week. That was this week. And I'll just show you guys, um, the picture of the baptisms. So the— these are all the men that got baptized. Isn't that awesome, dude? Dude, put a freaking fire emoji if this lights you up, to see 33 men publicly, publicly show that they are following Jesus now. Publicly declare that they've accepted Jesus as their Lord and their Savior. Here's what's amazing about this image: 10 of the men that are in this image were Muslims when we preached and have now since converted and wanted to get baptized. Dude, praise God! Praise God! Here's what's cool about this, right? Okay, behind those men is where the tub is the baptismal. So we were in the baptismal tub, and literally there was a line from the front of the tub to outside of the chapel, all the way outside of the chapel, with men just waiting to be baptized. I mean, it was beautiful. And then over here to the left side, you can't see them in this image, but you had a bunch of correctional officers, a bunch of staff there And man, everybody there was getting rocked. Everybody there was getting rocked. It was incredible. Um, there was this specific man there that was getting baptized. I got a picture of him with Josh. This man right here, um, as he was walking up to get baptized, um, as he was walking up to get baptized, this dude was already just leaking from his face, just weeping. Just weeping as he was walking up. You could just tell, like, it meant everything to him. You could tell that he wasn't just going to get wet. This meant everything to him, man. Um, that dude's name is Rakeem. Rakeem. It's got horrible handwriting. Horrible handwriting. You can kind of see it here. Horrible, horrible handwriting. Just terrible handwriting. But dude, heart just broken before the Lord. Just broken before the Lord. We had another guy there, um, as well who showed up to— or stood up to share a little bit. Look, I want you guys to see this, man. This is beautiful. Look at this. That's half of the chapel is full. Half of the chapel is completely full. Just for baptisms. There's a little bit of a better picture right here. Look at that, half of the chapel full just with men that are getting baptized, just for baptisms alone. I mean, incredible, incredible, incredible what God is doing there. And there was a man— I'm trying to see if I can see him here in the picture, um, he's like a Hispanic dude Yeah, he's right here. I wish I could like highlight him on the screen right now. Like, I wish I could like draw. Um, if you look all the way to the right side, you see those two black dudes and that like Hispanic dude sitting in between them, in front of them on the far right side? That dude right there, that dude stood up to share a little bit of testimony and he said Everyone, just a year ago I was over there in the annex and I got stabbed 6 times, he said. And now, 1 year later, I've accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I'm getting baptized. That should show everybody that God is real and that God is good. I mean, dude, this dude was stoked. He went from getting stabbed 6 times and living through it to then now accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior, getting baptized, and getting freaking loved on. I mean, just radical testimonies, just radical testimonies of what God is doing inside of this prison. And so these, these things happen, right? And I'm gonna frame this because I believe that this is a marking moment for MOG Ministries. I believe this is the beginning of just something pure something beautiful that God's going to continue to do inside of these prisons, right? But what I want to share with you guys next, and this is where we're going to need some discretion, you know, just so you know, like, things might get a little real, um, but it is what it is, right? Like, that's the type of ministry that we're doing, um, and so I'm just going to share. There's not going to be names that are shared. I'm not going to share crazy details, right? Um, but just be aware that these are pretty intense stories, okay? Some of these stories that I'm going to share are pretty intense. But before I share that, I want to read this scripture to you because I believe God highlighted the scripture to me. So we're not just going into these prisons, preaching, leaving, never coming back again. No, what we've done is we've gone and we've ministered, and then what we've done is we've launched a program in there to actually disciple these guys, to actually mentor these guys, to help them work through unforgiveness, to help them work through shame and guilt, and to kill that shame and guilt cycle, to be transformed by the renewing of their mind, to teach them conflict resolution, right, and how to handle conflict, um, as a man of God, right? And so we've been doing this stuff, right? And this is why, this is why, if we look in 2nd or 1st Thessalonians, 1st Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 8, This stood out to me over there in Florida. I read this over there in Florida. I was like, this is what we're doing. 1 Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 8 says, we loved you so much that we shared with you not only God's good news, the gospel, but our own lives too. Catch that. We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God's good news but our own lives too. Deep love doesn't just share the gospel. Deep love shares your lives as well. Deep love says, I'm going to do life with you. And that's what we've done. We told these inmates, we're committed to doing some life with you guys for the next 12 weeks. You guys, we're going to pour into you. And we're doing— here's the thing, I've been a part of coaching programs before, okay? I led an extremely powerful coaching program for 3 years, right? Divorce recovery coaching. And we did one call a week is what I did with men. There was one call for women, right? And so it was one call a week. And then I was a part of Champions of Christ Ministries, right? You guys know that, where we also did one call a week for people who paid a high premium to be in there. Well, for these inmates, we're doing 2 calls a week. We're doing one virtual on Monday, and then we're doing one virtual slash in-person on Wednesday. And we're just pouring the gas on this thing with these guys. And so this is what happened this past Wednesday. This past Wednesday, one thing that we always talk about is confess your sins one to another that you might be healed, right? But people usually always use that for you to confess what you've done. But what I wanted from these men, I wanted them to, for probably the first time in their entire life, to confess the sins that was done to them at an early age. And then I wanted them to tell me how it affected them moving forward in life. That was the homework for Wednesday. And man, Wednesday it popped off. Wednesday it popped off. We had a man stand up. I'm not going to mention names, right? Some of them I might, because it's like they're just like prison names. Like, we got Bubba, we got Triple OG, we got Ghost, Hammer. Bunch of these dudes that go by different names like that, so you guys will never know who they are. But we had a guy stand up and he was sharing about how, you know, he was raped when he was a little boy time and time again by family members. And he said that that created anger issues in him and that he always needed a, like, a father figure. And as he's sharing this, he starts to cry. And I'm watching a man that's standing, sitting right behind him. I'm watching the man that's sitting right behind him, and he just takes off his glasses and he's like, wow, man, wow. And so it just busted loose from there, right? He shares that. Then the man behind him starts to share and shares how when he was just 3 years old, when he was just 3 years old, his dad put him in an oven and turned the oven on when he was 3 years old. Stuffed them in an oven and turned on the oven. And he was like, by the grace of God, I wasn't burnt alive. Um, fast forward, his mom obviously leaves his dad, right? But then when she gets another boyfriend, then that boyfriend starts to take advantage of him at a young age. And so by the age of, I believe it was 10 years old, this man was already gang affiliated because he was looking for a father figure. He was looking for someone that would love him. He was looking for someone that would have his back, somebody that would protect him. And who's going to do that? Gangs, man. When you're in, you're in. We got you, you got us. You belong to us, we belong to you. Like, we're gonna rock, we're gonna rock together. So he was surrounded by men that he felt genuinely cared about him. So can you really blame him at that point, right? Like, it's crazy when you start hearing these things. And so then you have another man who shares almost the exact same thing besides the oven thing, right? And he said, he said, I never thought I'd share this with anybody. I could have swore that I was going to take this thing to the grave with me. And he was like, but when I was a kid, man, like, this is what happened to me. And he starts to share those things. Now this man is in prison for murder, right? They gave him two life sentences, so he's not getting out. Two life sentences without parole. So he's not getting out. Uh, that means that for 2 lifetimes he's gonna be in prison, essentially, right? So he's in there for that, and he starts sharing how he's a— he's an MIP. There's a couple dudes in there that are MIPs, obviously. Um, MIP means murder in prison. Um, so dudes who have murdered dudes in prison, essentially. So he murdered someone on the outside, then he murdered someone on the inside. And he told us right there, he was like, you know, I— he was like, I fully knew what I was doing when I murdered those two people. Um, I wasn't out of my mind, I wasn't insane, I wasn't struggling with mental health. I knew exactly what I was doing. I knew that I wanted to do it, and there was nothing going to happen to stop me from doing what I was going to do. Um, and then he said, then I started my career here in prison. And I was set on a trajectory, and I had made up my mind that I was going to take out as many chomos as possible inside of prison. And so he was on a mission to just kill as many child molesters as possible inside of prison. That's what he was going to do. So then he starts learning and noticing how a bunch of these child molesters are together in the faith and character dorm in the chapel. And so he notices that they're all about the Bible. These dudes are all about the Bible. So what does he say? He says, I'm going to learn everything I need to learn about this book, because what I'm going to do is I'm going to get so good at what this book says that I'm going to go and join them, and I'm going to start having talks with them. And I'm going to make sure that I'm tight on my game so that when I'm talking and teaching and with these guys, I can earn their trust, and then I'm gonna take them out. I'm just gonna kill all of them. That was his goal. Literally, he's up here in our classroom sharing this stuff. That was his goal. So he says I started doing that, and as I'm reading this book, all of a sudden I'm just like, oh shit, some of this thing stuff actually makes sense. He said, and then I started reading about how like there's a second chance and how he's not going to hold that against me. And all of a sudden I'm like, well bro, if I would have known that, I probably wouldn't have killed that second guy. I didn't know this. I didn't know this. Long story short, through reading the Bible and studying the Bible with the intention to use that as a tool to get him access to people that he could murder, God got his heart. God got his heart. And he starts saying this— this is awesome, right? Especially for people who, uh, don't like the prosperity gospel, right? This is awesome. You guys are going to love this part. And then he starts talking about how he starts learning through reading scripture that there are rewards for those who follow Jesus. So he's like, man, I got to give this Jesus thing a shot, like for real though. So he starts doing what the word says, he starts following Jesus, and then he starts believing that he's going to be rewarded for it. And he's like, man, I started getting rewards. He said, I started to get more food. There was gang members that had issues with me that all of a sudden we became friends out of nowhere. There was correctional officers that didn't like me whatsoever, that were like jerks towards me, and I know, know had it out for me, that all of a sudden started treating me nicely. I started getting snacks. I started getting these different things. He said favor started to— like, I started to get rewarded for all of this, for following Jesus. And if you guys remember, I told you that a lot of these dudes have like their own little nicknames, right? So they've got their nicknames in there, and he said, I don't go by any nickname. He said, because whenever I did what I did, I decided that I wanted to be kind of like the best serial killers known in mankind, where they don't have a nickname. The best serial killers, the most top dog serial killers in the world, you know them by their name. You don't know them by a fake name. You know them by their name. So he's like, so that's why I go by my name. I don't go by a nickname. I go by my name because I always had that mentality. And one thing that I asked them, I said, what do you want to die in these next 12 weeks, and what do you want to come to life? And he said, what I want to die is the reputation of respect that I have here in prison because I've killed someone in prison. I want that to die, and I want to come alive by the time this program ends. I want to come alive, a new respect. I want my name to be known, but for something completely different. I want my name to be known for Jesus Christ. I want my name to be known for making a difference. He said, I've been a kid all my life doing the stupid crap. He said threw my life away, but God gave me another chance, and that's what I'm set here to do here in prison. My second chance is here in prison. I can make the most impact here in prison. I can have the, the most, uh, purpose here in prison. And so this dude is just excited to like get to finally start sharing the gospel in prison. In prison. And so, I mean, it was wild, y'all. It was wild. And this is men that are inside of our program. We got the other guy in our program who's killed his last 3 roommates. And these dudes are in there. You know, my parents were asking me, they're funny. My mom was like, well, are there officers in there with you at least? And I was like, no, there's no officers in there. It's just us with them. That's it. That's just how we're doing it. It's just us in there with them 'in a private classroom upstairs. Nobody can hear us, nobody can talk to us.' And then my mom was like, 'Well, don't all the officers there have like stab vests so they can't be stabbed?' I'm like, 'Yeah.' She's like, 'So do they at least give you guys a stab vest?' I'm like, 'No, they don't give us a stab vest. We just go up there like this, normal.' But what's beautiful, y'all, is that these dudes are really taking a liking to us. Um, and yeah, I believe it is because, you know, the word of God, it's the message, it's all those things, right? Um, because if you notice something, here's— and I want to clear something up. I want to just throw this out there, and if you guys have disagreements, put it in the comments, okay? I'm down to hear about it, all right? But you always hear about how people are talking about how like the world's going to like hate you because you're preaching the gospel. Guys, the gospel is good news for the world. Like, if you notice Jesus If you notice Jesus in his ministry, it was not the world that hated Jesus. It was not the drug dealers that hated Jesus. It was not the prostitutes that hated Jesus. It was not the lawbreakers that hated Jesus. It was the religious rulers that did not like Jesus. That did not like Jesus. So I want to encourage you, especially in 2026, where we're in this climate in the United States of America, to get this stupid belief out of your head that people in the world are going to hate the message of Jesus Christ. It's called good news for a reason. It's called good news for a reason. Now, if you're making it sound like horrific news, then of course no one's gonna like you, but it's good news. It's good news. When, when Jesus was firm and stern with people and was really warning them about hell, it was the religious leaders and his disciples. It was the people closest to him. He was teaching them. But when he was preaching good news, everybody loved him. Everybody wanted a piece about— a piece of it. And then afterwards, during the teaching, is where people started to turn on Jesus and leave Jesus. Read it. It's all in the gospels, man. Anytime he preached, people loved it. When they started to be discipled and he started to speak truth and talk about division of sin, all these different things, that's when people started to leave. When he started to tell people, you've got to eat my flesh and drink my blood, that's when people started to leave Jesus. But dude, to have this idea that we're going to go into prison, they're going to hate us— if they hate us, I'm preaching the wrong gospel, man. They hit us on preaching the wrong gospel. Now, inside of this program, if they start to not like us because we're now teaching what the gospel says, I can get that, and I can get behind that, and I understand that. But if you're going in into some place that's dark, you're bringing them light. You're not bringing them condemnation. You're bringing them the word of God. You're bringing them the simple fact that God sent his only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in him shall not die but have everlasting life. What is so bad about that? That's not going to scare the world away. Hey, let me tell you about Jesus. Let me tell you why he's so good. You know the Bible says— you know his Bible says that his burden is light and his yoke is easy? You know that the Bible says that he took all that crap that you're carrying right now, all that shame, all that guilt, all that hurt, all that anger. You know the Bible says that he took all of that and wore it himself so you don't have to deal with that anymore? You know the torment of your past mistakes that you've done? You know that Jesus came and died on the cross, and when he died on the cross, he took on all of that so you don't have to experience that anymore? You know that? That's good news. That's great freaking news. Did you know that Jesus on the cross literally put himself in a position for God to release all of his wrath? All the wrath that you read about in the Old Testament. You know that God? You know the God in the Old Testament that all of us are like, oh my gosh, bro, like God was a dog, man, in the Old Testament. God was on one in the Old Testament. You know, all that wrath that God has had in the Old Testament, you know that the Bible says that he is fully satisfied now because of the cross. On the cross and on his own Son Jesus Christ, all the wrath that you deserved, all the wrath that I deserved, all the wrath that you're going to deserve tomorrow when you mess up, if you mess up, All the wrath that I'm going to deserve if I mess up tomorrow, or when I mess up, all that wrath was fully, fully satisfied on the cross. That means that God has no more wrath to give because he's already delivered all of it. That's what Jesus did on the cross for you. That's freaking good news, man. That is great news. So I walk into these prisons with that mentality. Everybody that I speak to is going to love what I've got to say. They're gonna love hearing it, and they're gonna want it. Why? Because it's good news. Because it is light to the darkness. And this is why we called this program The Road to Damascus, because of guys like that man who had made up his mind that he was going to kill as many child molesters as he could in his prison career, that he was going to make his name famous for murdering tons and tons and tons of men inside of that prison. And then all of a sudden, while he's not seeking God, while he's in his darkness while he's loving his darkness, while he's given himself fully to his darkness, God shows up. Just like Saul, just like Saul in the Gospels, just like Saul on the road to Damascus in— I believe it's Acts chapter 9— just like Saul, God's showing up for these men. Some of these men did not know that this is what they wanted and what they needed. And here's evidence of it, man. 33 men. We didn't preach to that many men. You usually can't have 33 baptisms in a mega church at one time. It's hard to even get that. We got 33 men got baptized. 10 of them were Muslims, gave their life to Jesus, and may now publicly proclaim that Jesus Christ is their Lord and their Savior. It's wild, dude. It's wild. You want to know what else is really cool? And now I'll just end with this. These inmates, man, they asked me, um, to send my logo in an email to the lieutenant, and the lieutenant's going to give them my logo. And what they're going to do, the MOG Ministries logo, and what they're going to do is they're going to paint it on the wall inside of their the teaching center, I guess you could call it. I don't know, the classroom. They're gonna paint it on there and they're gonna put Road to Damascus. And so once they graduate, we're gonna just take a freaking group picture under there. It's just gonna be awesome. It's just awesome what God is doing. And what's really, really cool is that this class is only 12 weeks for these guys, but we've got another class that's gonna be starting right after that. And then we've got a third class that's already awaiting. I mean, we've got a waiting list of men that want to come and do this program. Um, and I'm just super excited about what God's doing. I'm super honored, super humbled, man. It's just radical to be the— to get the opportunity as an imperfect human being to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to go and do it in the darkest of the darkest place where people want nothing to do with those people. Where people allegedly— we say we love people. That's what we say. We say we love our neighbor. We say we love people. Boys, I won't go there. I won't go there. Those people deserve that. No, no, those people are crazy. I'm not going to go there. No, no, God can find, find something else there. Oh, okay, okay. So you love some people. So you love some people. Jesus did not come and die on the cross for some people. He came and died on the cross for every person that would be willing to believe in him. And I believe that, man, if we're going to see revival in America, if we're going to see revival in our own lives, if I'm going to see revival in my life, if I'm going to see revival in the places that I'm connected to, in the areas where I'm at, there's one thing that I gotta grasp, man. I gotta love my neighbor as myself. I gotta get a love for people, all of them, all of them, all of them. I gotta get a love for people, and we need to get a love for people. So I just want to say thank you, man, um, for everyone who tuned into this. Hopefully you guys— hopefully this built your faith, man. I know there's crazy stories, um, from some of the men in there, and there's going to be more stories to come. I'm believing that pretty soon we're going to be able to get a camera in there so that we can start documenting this process and so that you guys can actually hear directly from some of these men. I'm about this close right now. I'm about to start a call for men that are being released from prison because there's another prison that I speak at every time I'm in Florida, um, that I go and I do life with these dudes, um, and some of them are getting out. We just had another guy get out on Monday. And I want to do a Hope Dealers mentorship call, life coaching call, discipleship, whatever you want to freaking call it. I want to do a Hope Dealers call for those men that are coming out of prison because that transition's hard, man. You need people that are speaking life into them. And so what I'm doing, I think it's, I think it's a God idea. I think it's extremely unique, right? What I'm doing is for all the people who are partnered monthly with the ministry as part of our Hope Dealers program, me and those people are going to be on those calls with those men who have just been released from prison, um, and we're going to get to speak into those dudes' lives. We're going to get to speak into those dudes' lives. We're going to get to hear their testimonies as well. And I believe that as much as they're going to get out of our words, we're going to get a lot out of their words, because those dudes are a huge blessing to me when I go in there. I mean, it's, it's crazy. How God uses them. Um, and so yeah, and so if that's something that you want to be a part of, man, if you want to be a part of the Hope Dealers program, um, I'm also going to send you our official Hope Dealers t-shirt. Um, so once you set up your recurring with us, just— I'm believing for 1,000, uh, partners, monthly partners at $87 a month. Um, and I'm believing that that's going to help us make some massive damage in prisons and in homeless ministry. We're going to go do some homeless ministry this weekend, very excited about that. Not going to promote or anything like that, just super stoked to go out there and do it. Um, but yeah, if you want to be a part, if you want to be connected to this kingdom assignment, partner with us. $87 a month, that's all I'm asking for, right? $87 a month. If you know anybody who's got a heart for ministry like this, but they don't have the time to do it, but they want to be connected to the harvest of this type of ministry, you know, tell them to partner with us. They could scan the QR code or send them to mogministries.org. Make sure it's mogministries.org, because if you go to mogministry.org, you're going to see a black man that has his own ministry. And I know I'm black, but I just don't look it in skin tone right now. So emojiministries.org. And man, just send them there. Just send them there if they want to be a part of something bigger than us, than themselves. They want to get the harvest in heaven for what God is doing through MOG Ministries inside of prison. And then also, I'm going to make sure that I get you guys the official Hope Dealer t-shirts, which are never going to go on sale. It's exclusively for our partners. And after you're with us for a while, right, I'm gonna send you another t-shirt from the ministry, another Hope Dealer t-shirt. It's not gonna be this one. It's gonna be the same Hope Dealer t-shirt, but in white. It's gangster. It's so sick. You've probably seen me wearing it before. But then that way you can rock that with pride. And when somebody asks you like, hey man, like, where'd you get that shirt? You can tell them, be like, man, there's this ministry, awesome ministry. They're doing this in prison. These are the stories that are coming out of it. It's powerful, um, and it gives you an opportunity to evangelize and then ask people, what would you need prayer for as well? So scan that QR code. I appreciate anybody who partners with us and makes all of this happen. It's incredible what God is doing right now. Um, so yeah, those are the stories from prison. Uh, there's going to be more. I can't wait. I'm about to be in North Dakota next week, gonna go speak at another jail, minister at another jail. Uh, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe that, um, there's such a demand— this is what the text message sounded like— that there's such a demand that they're actually going to do 2 to 3 different services. So they're going to do 2 to 3 different services when I'm in North Dakota, uh, at this jail, um, which is gonna be awesome. It's gonna be— I'd rather just do one big one. I'm still going to pray for everyone. Everyone that wants prayer is still going to get prayer. I don't care how long it takes. But I'll do 3 services. I'll do 3 services, and it's gonna be incredible. So I'm asking you to come in agreement with me that God is going to do what he's been doing, that men are going to be radically saved and transformed, that they're going to experience a fresh touch from heaven in Jesus' name, that it will not be wise and persuasive words, but it will be a demonstration of the power of the Holy Ghost. That infiltrates these men's lives this next week in North Dakota. It's gonna be awesome. So thank you guys for tuning in. Um, let me pray for anybody who sowed into the ministry, for anybody who partnered with us. I know some people scanned the QR code because it shows me on here. Um, so let me pray for you guys and let me pray for your seed, uh, and then I'll see you again on another episode here shortly. Father, I thank you for my brothers and my sisters on the other side of this screen, Father. Lord, I thank you, Lord, um, just for their heart for your people, God, for their heart for revival, for their heart for souls, God, for their heart specifically for souls that are in places where nobody really wants to go, God, that for their heart for the least of these, for their heart for the forgotten, for their heart for the worst of the worst, as we would label them, God. I ask in the mighty name of Jesus that you would do what your word says And as they step out in faith and sow into this ministry, God, God, I thank you that this is fertile soil for their seed, that they're sowing into you, they're sowing into the kingdom. And so, Father, I ask right now for a 30, 60, 100-fold return on whatever it is that they sow, in the mighty name of Jesus. God, God, and I ask, Lord, that they would just feel the connection to the mission the connection to the harvest, God, and that their treasures are being stored up in heaven because they're connecting with us and making these things happen. So even though they can't be there with us behind the gates, God, doing the work there with us, Father, I thank you that they're doing the work by partnering with us financially. So, Father, I just ask that you bless them in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Amen.
