Here's the planting plan you want to use for this small raised bed garden if you want it to turn out like this. First plant the edges of the bed with loads of perennial herbs and marigolds. For this one I used rosemary, lavender, sage and thyme. Then add tomatoes and cucumbers to the obelisk trellis. Then add one squash plant along the edge of each side. Plant parsley in the corners and then add loads of bell peppers and some jalapeno peppers too. Finish off the bed with some purple and green basil. Then plant chives right beside all the squash plants to protect them from pest. Plan fits over 60 plants in this small raised bed. Here's me planting in May and here's what it looked like in July. If you want to learn to plant your garden like this so it grows in like this, then you've got to join me for the Spring Garden Startup Workshop. You can find out how to sign up in the caption.
