In this video Nicole Johnsey Burke demonstrates how to create a living fence covered in raspberry plants. She installs three‑panel diamond trellises from The Gardenary shop (or a chain‑link fence) behind her mom’s garden, then plants a raspberry cane about every two feet. The canes are woven in and out of the trellis to form a continuous barrier. She explains the annual pruning routine: cut back old wood each year, recognize first‑year non‑fruiting primocanes and second‑year fruiting floricanes. By mid‑summer the floricanes will produce ripe raspberries ready for harvest directly from the fence. Nicole also points viewers to a full vertical‑growing guide and a link to purchase the trellises in the video description.
