A short YouTube how-to by Nicole Johnsey Burke explaining how to grow organic garlic at home. The host walks through soil prep (remove spent plants, add a small amount of organic compost), laying out straight rows, using a dibber to make holes about 4 inches deep (shallower in hot areas, deeper in cold), spacing to aim for about nine bulbs per square foot, breaking bulbs into cloves and selecting the largest cloves, planting each clove with the flat end down and tip up, then covering the cloves gently with a rake.
