Okay, listen, we have got to talk. There have been some recent accusations about me online saying that I don't personally care for all the gardens that I post about all my clients gardens. And I have to tell you the accusations are true. So today I'm stuck here at home working in the office and I thought it'd be fun for you to go along with my team. They're going to plant up three gardens for fall. So come along with my team. I'm going to stay here in the office and do some computer work. Boring. And watch my team hard at work in some of our great clients gardens. And you can tell everybody. Yeah, she doesn't. She doesn't do all the garden work. They're right. This is Lauren from Bloomsbury. Hello. Hello. We love putting her beautiful, beautiful organic plants in our current gardens. Yeah. These are so fun. Thanks, guys. Thank you so much. Yay. Okay, let's get the loading for sure as well. Wanna put it in your passenger seat? That is a huge spider. Buckle it up. I feel like it jumps. Yeah, I think he's a jumper. There you go. Did you kill it? Yeah, no, he just pretty much flipped it out. Okay, great. Let's. Let's go to Susie's. Jared should be here any minute. He's right there. Oh. How are you? I'm good. I wasn't sure how to dress that. I wasn't sure like what. Yeah. Oh, pretend she's not there. That's. That's all broccoli. Fun. Here, I'll give you another one for your other hand, if you don't mind. This is just lettuce. How you been, Jared? I'm good. Hello. We have lots of plants, so we have a couple things to talk about as far as tomatoes. And look at them all. Peppers and basil. Yeah. Been eating them. I'm also gonna take today to cut back these herbs a lot. Just so you know, these perennials, like this will come back. The rosemary. Yeah. And the sage. We're gonna literally cut them all back. Huh. Look. Oh, my first got a carrot. We're gonna plant a lot of carrot seeds today and they will be successful. All the like new sprouts. All the sprouts that are like shooting straight up. It just tells the plant to stop growing essentially and just finish up the fruit that it has already made. The red ones should honestly all be pulled off the vine if we can do it. Alrighty. This looks better. We can plant some cilantro seeds today. But if you're like, I want to add a couple annual herbs Those are the only things we didn't bring, like dill, dill, and cilantro would be the annuals. You don't like fennel? You said no. So dill or cilantro, you didn't have it? We didn't bring those. We brought, like, the bigger plants and all the seeds for the root crops and the lettuces. Okay. Yeah. Like, one in each bed. And then I do, like, a kale in each bed. Yeah. Maybe a Swiss chard in each bed. And I could do a cauliflower in each bed. A cauliflower would be great. Okay. Okay. One in each bed is kind of fun. Yeah. You like that? But. Yeah, I think that's it. Great. Yay. Sounds perfect. Check. Now let's do the broccoli and the cauliflower. All right, Those are the big plants. Plants planted. I'm gonna start planting, like, some peas and rows of root crops. Blue, blue, blue, blue, Blue, you have to stay with us. Stay blue. You can't go on the road. Good boy, Blue. Thank you. Yeah. These are gonna be two rows of carrots, and there might be some thinning because I'm not doing these perfectly, but. That is it. We did it. Okay. Anyway, let's go see the results here because we planted so many seeds. You guys are wonderful. Thank you, Susie. Yeah. I'm sweaty. I'm sweaty, too. Thank you, guys. You're wonderful. Susie, thank you for having us. Today we are at Allison's garden. Yesterday we did Susie's. Today we're doing Allison's. Still trying to help Nicole out while she's busy doing other things. We're gonna plant up this garden the gardenary way. But look at this garden. Honestly, yesterday at Suzy's, we noticed her basil was, like, bolted and diseased and gross. This is not. But, yeah, she's got tomatoes back here that also look really good. Okay, we'll start with this age. Start trimming back a lot of these herbs for her to take in and store. Okay. Same thing as yesterday. Same thing. Look at that. That is, like. That's wood. That is wood. Okay. That's a literal tree. Oh, my God. So weird. Oh. It's often mistaken for a fungus. Wait, what is it? Commonly known as wolf's milk or gronig's slime. It plays a beneficial role in decomposing organic matter. Harmless organism found in gardens growing on decaying organic matter like mulch or deadwood. It will not harm your plants. That's all we need to know. All right. But I'll probably just kind of Scoop it out some worms right with them. Just go back in here. So, Swiss, is this the house or the trees? Good idea. Perfect. Ah, yes. Okay. Bok choy was here, and then we'll do cabbage as, like, a. And she's gonna add that. What if we do, like, the lettuce starts, like, a row of those here and a row of those there? Like, outside the peppers? Yeah. What do you think? And maybe plant, like, a nasturtium seed there, too, just to. Start putting in those lettuce starts. Yeah. Great. Thank you so much. Thanks, Jared. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Perfect. Spinach. So we soaked these a bit. The water did fall out of the bottom, but I think it helped the coating. Oh, I don't know my own strength, I guess. You're not supposed to get that wet. I. It was already cracked. It was already broken. All right, well, I think the peas. It. It still did what we needed it to do. You can literally see the coating is coming off of the stem seed. So true. We're done planting at Allison's. It looks amazing. We cleaned up a lot of the herbs, as you saw, and they're all over there. Do you see the mountain of herbs? Crazy. And there's still herbs to be had in here. I'm going to leave a cleaner planting plan than this for Allison so that she knows where everything was planted, and she'll go by and label them. We can't wait to come back in, like, a few weeks and see how it's looking. Yeah. Yep. Done. Out. Oh, this is insane. There you go. Wow. Holy cow. That's crazy. Okay. This is so nice. I love removing tomatoes because, oh, gosh, there's going to be nothing in this garden. It's going to be a blank slate. How are you? Good. How are you? How was the uk? Oh, it was so fun. I literally ate them for breakfast every morning. Oh, my God. I'm so glad they're prolific then. That's crazy. Yeah, they are. You just keep going. Can you believe the dahlias? That was, like, the shocker of the century for me. They look. Have you guys ever seen, like, when they keep growing, they look like a coral head. Like, this will keep growing in, like, in multiple layers, and it looks like. Like a sea anemone. Like a sea anemone. Yeah. Do you want to. Should we leave a spot to plant some garlic? We should. I have a bunch. Yeah. Okay. So we can make a plan for them to be. Yeah, Even, like, along the back here would be cool. Like, where we put the Carrots. Yep. Along that one, too. Along both of the backs. Start with our, like, broccoli and cauliflower down the middle of the bed. Do you want to alternate, like. Let's see. Like, broccoli front. Yeah, whatever you want. Yeah, exactly. They do look so similar. Planted bok choy. It was so fast to get really. So, like, right by the time or right by the. Yeah. Like, by any of these. I think it would be a nice. Okay. Spot. And there's Swiss chard. This is the broccoli. Okay. You could start with the. Yep. Say that the plants that I put in there didn't grow as big as the ones on the other side with the potting soil. Is that interesting? So it made me wonder if the compass wasn't fully composted. Yeah. Okay. It's like. Yeah. Come learn. It's free. So awesome. Yeah. We. Then we were way out in. Oh, I love that. Sorry. You're gonna be Ms. Rehomed. One, two. The pink and the yellow. They will be. Somebody. It's two different ones. Yeah. Okay, that's great. All right, now, bok choy. I was thinking, if she's gonna plant a wall of garlic. Yeah. Back here, then maybe the box could go in between them. That's it. Molly has good ideas. I thought you were gonna say every once in a while. Every once in a while. Maybe we could. We could probably shift them just a little bit and then put them in there. Biggest worm. Just again, like, literally. Yay. That's a different bed. So that's all the beds. Every spinach is must, right? Yes, love. Do you like arugula? We do peas. Arugula. I need a new one, mister. We'll pop a couple more. I know you have a ton. Oh, that's great. But like, a pretty. And maybe some. Some cilantro seeds. Dill radishes. Yep. I'll give you some. We launched this thing called the easy garden kit. Betsy. And it, like, comes with. Huh. I can already imagine. Yes. Genius. Right away, like, ease. The easiest seeds. Radishes are some of them. And, like, an easy plan for a bed and all kinds of easy instructions just to get you started. And so we set up both plans in my backyard, and I'm babysitting them, tending them, and all that, but I have a squirrel who just will not leave them alone. Planting with us. It's always more fun when you're out here. Yeah, I enjoy doing it. It's much more fun for me to do it with people. Yeah. Otherwise, I stay in here for a while, I'm like, what do I do? Yeah, I do the same thing in my garden. Yeah. So now you know my secret. It's not just me, it's an incredible team working alongside me. Tell me in the comments what you thought about the team and if you want to see more content from them, and if you want to see a time when I actually did a little bit of work at a client's garden and didn't have to be behind a computer, you can watch me change over Ellie Holcomb's garden for fall right here.
