Turns out plants might know more about life than you’d think thanks to Ellie Holcomb #garden #wisdom

I'm in the garden today with singer-songwriter, author, mother, wife, extraordinary human, Ellie Holcomb. And today she's going to teach us 3 life lessons she's learned from the garden.

Number 1, what you tend will grow. And this is so true in our lives too. So it's like, don't tend to the things that are worrying you. Don't give that a bunch of attention. Don't feed the worry. Don't feed the fear. Give energy to the things that bring life. Lesson number 2: plants are really good at letting go of what they don't need. The plant doesn't worry about feeding what is like sucking the life out of them. They literally let it go. Let go of what's not serving you, send it to the compost pile.

Lesson number 3 from the garden: we are better together.

The plants work together, the plants help protect each other, they help feed each other, they help shade each other. We are not meant to do life alone, and the plants know that. And we should listen.
