And the white spot we can identify in a microscope. And it's a small moving animal. You can see it's slowly moving and it's attached to the mucus. It's attached to the skin, making holes in the skin like I explained in my fish diseases on white spot disease. So it's a parasite that we can find with a microscope. The treatment of this white spot disease you should do as soon as possible. And of course first of all think about avoiding spreading. Try to work biosecure so no other aquaria or other fish can become infected. What you can do first is raise the temperature with a few degrees to speed up the cycle of the parasite. So then easier also it will be to kill the baby ick. Or the termites with the medication, like a medication you can use like malachite green or a similar product available in the pet shop. Try to siphon off the bottom of the aquarium two times a day so you can remove the adult egg which we explained in the cycle in fish diseases.
