Today we will talk about fish diseases and how can our Dr. Besley Bai fish food help you and of course help your fish. First of all, we have to look at the cause of the fish diseases. And as I explained in previous videos on YouTube, the stress is the important risk factor we have to deal with. And the stress can have an impact on the health of the fish so that a pathogen who might be available in the water can infect the fish. So this is something we always have to think about before we start medicating or treating our fish against diseases is to check why do the fish get sick. And if you want to talk about preventing fish diseases, first of all it's taking care about a good quality of the water by good filtration, regular water changes. And what we particularly will also talk about today is about the correct feeding. Because correct feeding is something which is usually neglected because fish are eating well, we just give them something. No, something we should think about. What can we do better with feeding? And in this case it will be in regards of repairing the fish when they have a disease, helping the fish during a disease. So how can we keep our fish healthy? Well, it's your care by the fish as fish keeper, giving a good food and giving the best help to your fish. Our ideas are not new, but already 2000 years old. Which explains that the food should be our medicine and our medicine should be our food, which is something which is very clear explained in our daily life as humans. So what is so special about our doctor Bass nearby fish food? And in some cases when you have reef tank in the beginning stages of the disease, just feeding the doctor Besley biffish wood poultry and syphonoving the bottom for example, or raising the temperature can help already to fight off this parasite. Even without medication. It's possible. But then you must really do it and act in the beginning stages. Another parasitic infection is Oodinium or velvet disease in marine fish it's called Amylodinium. The parasite spiral nucleus, which we can find in the gut, also a bad gut flora and a damaged gut is causing lack of immunity of the fish. A permanent carbon filtration, particularly for marine aquaria, causing a lack of essential nutrients, causing a lack of vitamins and trace elements because eliminated by the carbon filtration. Also because of bad feeding can be a risk of a lack of good nutrients. Also secondary bacterial infections can have an impact in causing the head of the line syndrome. When we find spatonucleus, the first thing we can look at is at the excrement. And you see here a white slimy string hanging here on this angelfish, which is typical happening when there is a spiral nucleus infection because there is extra mucus. Because the parasites are in the gut and they are irritating the mucus lining and that is causing extra mucus and that deficiency mucus. The hole in the head and the spinal nucleus, we recommend the combination of the medication with hexamore which is amino nitrothiazole, same like metronidazole.
