My Top 3 Courses for Soulpreneurs

George Kao (speaker) explains his work supporting "soulpreneurs"—entrepreneurs seeking financially stable, deeply fulfilling self-employment—and recommends three foundational courses for people starting or refining a business: (1) Authentic Business Plan (annual/regular planning; required for his clients), (2) Authentic Content Flow (build clarity by creating public content consistently; long-term foundation), and (3) Authentic Market Discovery plus Creating Aligned Offers (fast path to revenue: customer conversations to gather intel, then design one-to-one offers). He contrasts slow/long-term vs hurry/short-term paths, emphasizes conversational, caring market research (not sales), and briefly notes additional courses (social growth, ads, speaking).

Okay, so here's a video where I share with you the breadth of my work so people can understand what does George do and what kinds of stuff can he support me with. So let me just kind of start with an overview. I love supporting what I call soulpreneurs, soulful entrepreneurs. People who want to create a self employment that is financially stable and that's deeply fulfilling. That is, that feels like a soulful expression of who they are on a day to day basis instead of hiding who they are. And essentially I've created a bunch of courses that help with different aspects of the business side of it. Okay. So think of me as sort of like the, you know, there might be some people who focus on the mindset aspect of self employment. I focus on more the business technical marketing side of things. So I'm not going to make this a long video because I've made a longer video about this. But I wanted to do a quick one which is if you are saying, well George, where do I begin with you? I would say the first one is called Authentic Business Plan. This is what I basically require all my clients to take and I myself revisit on a regular basis. Because how do you spend your time in your business? Really? I think a lot of us are often unsure about that. And I've done my best to put my plan into this course called Authentic Biz Plan. It's what I use myself, like I said, and what I revisit at least once a year. And anyway, so you might want to check that out. It's called. It's my what? Anyway, there are going to be links below. Wherever you're watching this too. You can go to my website also and click on courses to find all these links. So that's the first one. The second one, it depends on how much you're in a hurry. Okay. Okay. If you are not in a hurry and have spaciousness to develop your business, you know, it's like, hey, I don't have to squeeze money out of my business in the next few months and I can create a nice foundation for the long term. Then I would say the second one is Authentic Content Flow, which is my course that gives you a step by step guide on how to start creating authentic content on a consistent basis. I give you prompts inside the course, my favorite prompts of course, but also the whole process, particularly of writing. Okay, writing content. How do I do that on a regular basis? How do I recommend doing that Authentic Content Flow? You might want to check it out. The reason why I recommend the second is because clarity doesn't come from just journaling and like, trying to make your perfect brand. And your core message, like alone in solitude, clarity comes from creating public. Say that again. Clarity about your core message, your brand, your energy signature really, and your offerings comes from creating publicly and seeing what the world responds to from what you put out there. You can't, because I've seen so many people waste years sometimes, actually, and thousands of dollars, tens of thousands, like, working with branding experts and like copywriters to get their ducks in a row before they launch. And then I've seen it so often they launch and they're greatly disappointed by the lack of response to their website, their services, etc. Well, they made the mistake of trying to find clarity before they start creating content. You create content on a variety of topics in a variety of different formats, with different parts of yourself expressed, and then notice what the world resonates with and lean more into those. So that's the authentic content flow idea. Okay, so that's the second one. But if you are in a hurry to make money to like, oh, I gotta, I gotta make money for my business in the next few months, then what I recommend is two things. Authentic market discovery and creating aligned offers. Of course, I have a course on each one of those, but that's what I just recently finished teaching this year. Authentic market discovery is the process of step by step, getting in touch with your audience, which starts with the people who you already know you already have a bunch of some friends, acquaintances, colleagues, classmates, people you've taken courses with, people who are on social media and who pay attention at least sometimes to your content. These are the people you start with to have curious, caring conversations. Not sales conversations, but conversations of market discovery, which is about curiosity and caring. Finding out of the things that they, that they care about right now that energize them. The goals that they have, the problems that they have, which of those things resonate with you and that you really want to create something to support them on. Okay, so it's not a sales call, it's a discovery call that actually comes with that genuine sense of caring. It might not be after the conversation, oh, I'm going to sell you. No, no, Most of the conversations aren't like that at all. Most of the conversations like, wow, okay, this is really helpful for me and I have a friend who can help you maybe, or I saw a video that might be helpful to you, but sometimes it's like, you know what, that's something that I would love to Do. Right. But anyway, Authentic market discovery is my course to get you step by step into that process, supporting you through how to do the outreach, who to outreach to, what to say, how to analyze those conversations so that after the process is clear, then you move on to creating aligned offers. Because now you have the data, the intel to be able to make an offer, a coaching package, a healing service, a mentoring service, whatever kind of service you want, particularly one to one service. Creating aligned offers is meant for that one to one service that people will love. Because people have already told you what they want and now you're creating what they're telling you that they want, that you also love to provide. Okay, so thank you for someone asking me a question here. Thank you. Weaving wholeness. So the first step seems to be business planning. Yes. Even my website's already created and my offerings are clearly defined. Yeah. In my view, that's why I visit my own biz plan course for myself once a year so that I can plan better for the coming year, launches, etc. And the structure of my offering. So I'm gonna pretty much end this video soon here because I made a longer video about the rest of my 20 courses. But I also teach things like how to grow Instagram, how to grow on YouTube, how to do Facebook ads if you want to do that kind of stuff. LinkedIn. I teach a course about authentic speaking, how to show up on camera with more presence and energy. Signature. That's the one I just recently taught. Anyway, I've got a bunch more courses, but you might want to start with the ones that I just mentioned, if you haven't already. Those are the foundations one. So thank you for watching. If you're still here, I appreciate you. Thank you and see you again. Let's see. Jessica, thanks for asking whether you should have an offer right out the gate depends on how much of a hurry you are in regarding making money. Obviously without an offer, you can't make money. That's what you know. But some people, everyone's in a different situation, right? Some people like have a job right now and they're really building their business for. For the long term. Some people are like, hey, listen, I've been working on this for a while, right? I want to make money in the next three months. Well then yes, you need to create an offer as soon as possible and start to offer that and then start to tweak that based on market response. So thanks for asking. I hope this is helpful and thanks for joining me. Be well. I wish you a blessed, blessed day.
