If you're using Google Doc to create a document to upload to an AI chatbot, I want to recommend that you download the document as a markdown format. Let me go ahead and explain what this means. Okay, so for example, I want to upload this document whenever I chat with AI so that it's more aware of how. What my style is like. So I've created a document with, you know, certain headers and things like that. So I'm going to go and click. Once I've done that, I'm going to go and click on file download Markdown. Okay, markdown, here we go. And the current tab. And the reason is because, let me just show you real quick, I have different tabs, and so I want to download this exact tab right now. So Markdown now. What does this mean? It means that it's going to download it in a format that I can more easily understand in terms of what's bold, what's italicized, what's a header, you know, what's normal text. Because obviously in a document where you have headers and bold and italicize, etcetera, you're trying to communicate what's, what's prioritized, what's more important, what to emphasize, right? And just by downloading a Word document or whatever, AI has to run it. AI basically transforms it into its own markdown format before it it, you know, so it has to do multiple steps. And you're doing the steps for it right now by downloading the markdown format to upload into an AI. So let me go and show you the next step after that. So in an AI, you know, when you attach a file, you go and click Attach upload files. And you would then therefore select the. Sorry. Select the. There we go. Select the Markdown. So it's. The markdown format is says MD for Markdown. And that way it's, it's better able to understand the emphasis and the headings and things so that it can more quickly work and save its resources, save its tokens to be used for additional thinking that it does for you so that it can create better responses.
