When business is tough, you need connect more -- internally and externally

George Kao says when business slows, reconnect inwardly first through spiritual practice or meditation to restore creativity, then reach out one-to-one to past inquirers and referral sources. Mass social posting won't work. Generosity and direct contact do.

When business is challenging and times are tough, it's time to connect more, connect more within ourselves and connect more with other people. Let me explain. First, connect more within yourself to that source of eternal security and eternal creativity. It's all within you. Now you might call it God, higher self, soul, but whatever it is, you have some practice that helps you to connect to the remembrance that somehow all will be well and that you have more ideas, more creativity, more possibility and potential within you than you can ever imagine. So first, do whatever practice you need to to connect within yourself so that you can do the next thing, which is to connect outward to other people in the spirit of generosity and of service. Because when you come from that fullness within yourself, you can then be on a stable foundation to connect generously and in service. And really in tough times, this is especially when you need to reach out and connect one to one or you know, on social media in posting your content, but also connect one to one because especially if you need clients, right? Connecting one to one with other people, people who have inquired with your business in the past, people who have our fans, people who are potential referral sources. Connect with them and see what it is that you can do to help them to see what is what's going on in their life or in their work or in their relationships or health or whatever it is that you feel comfortable asking and seeing, trying to figure out what is it you can do to be of support to them because there's too little connection. De days one to one. So many people are just trying to connect on social media, posting videos like this. But connecting one to one is always more valuable and more meaningful to you and to the other person than just connecting in mass. So I hope this is encouraging to you. Remember, when times are tough, connect within and then connect without. Connect with others. All right. My name is George Kao. I love talking about authentic business and doing marketing from the heart. Doing marketing authentically. If you like this video, you'll probably enjoy my others as well. So I'll see you in the next video. Be well.
