Your *consistent* practice of creating content = an important ministry to your ideal audience...

George Kao argues that consistent content creation is ministry to your ideal audience. Your unique energy signature resonates with a specific group of people, maybe 50,000 of them. Skip the metrics obsession and focus on authentic creation paired with deliberate distribution.

Why is it so hard to be consistent in creating content? This is one of the biggest questions that I get year after year. And people just continually have a difficult time showing up consistently. Well, there are multiple reasons, but one of the biggest reasons, maybe, in my opinion, the biggest reason that gets me to be creating consistently is because I understand the power that creating content has for my own growth and as my impact in terms of my service to humanity. Now that might sound a bit egotistical, like, oh, my content has wonderful impact on human, on humanity. But let me explain. Have you ever, you know, watched a video, read a book, consumed any content where you're like, this thing is amazing. This thing really shifted something for me. And then you shared it with friends, you shared it with other people, and other people didn't get the impact like it had on you ever happened. Happens to me all the time. It's because I'm weird, right? I think that the, the weirder, the weirder you are or the more you're willing to share kinds of stuff with your friends, the more you're going to have that experience of like, why, why don't they love this thing that, that has such a, you know, amazing positive effect on me. So what happened there was that that piece of content exhibits an energy signature that fits you really, really well. It is like some vibration out there in the universe. And you have some unique piece of equipment called your body, mind, spirit combination of your life experiences that is most perfect as a recipient, as a receptor for that vibrational expression. And so it made a big impact on you. Whereas other people don't have that equipment or that life experience or that particular combination of personality with things they've seen for it to land on them. And same thing, you've been recommended different videos and books and products or whatever by other people. You're like, yeah, didn't really do anything for me. Same thing. That's nothing wrong with you. There's nothing wrong with them except that there is an amazing match between the thing that was shared and the energy signature of the recipient for whom it made a big impact. And so this is essentially what's happening when you create as well. When you create and put things out there, you're expressing a unique vibrational expression that is going to be not understood and not received, but by most of the people out there. But for the minority, a small minority of people, it's the perfect match and it makes such a difference for them. The way I like to think of it is your content is a ministry to your ideal Audience. Now, it's not for everybody. And that's a good thing because the. The weirder you are, the more of an impact your content has on just the right person, the right group of people that your content is well matched for. And the way I like to think about it is, okay, say you're weird or doesn't matter. I don't. Everybody's weird. Okay? Everybody is weird in their own way. Everybody has a unique energy signature. But let's just say, let's take a room of, I don't know, 10,000. 10,000 random Internet users. Got it. I mean, even just 100 Internet users, let's start there. I would like to start. Imagine 100 random Internet users. How many of those hundred Internet users are the perfect match for your energy signature? Maybe not even one. Maybe not even one out of a hundred, but out of a thousand, a room of a thousand random Internet users. Possibly one is the right match, but let's be even more conservative and say 1 out of 10,000. Yeah, now we're really talking like random Internet users. 100,000. 10,000 people. 1 out of 1 out of 10,000 are a good match for your energy signature. Imagine that. Well, how many Internet users are there? More than 5 billion, technically. Right now, I just did the research, is 5.3 billion, but let's just round it down to 5 billion. So imagine out of 5 billion people, like I said, I told, you know, we already established this. Probably 1 out of 10,000 are your. Are a good match. Okay, and, and so what does that mean, out of 5 billion people? That means 5 million. Okay, I'm sorry. No, 500,000. 500,000 people on the Internet are a good match for your energy signature, for the expression of your authentic creativity, your genuine presence when you're not pretending to be anybody else, but when you show up as powerfully you as you can. There are 500,000 people on the Internet for whom it's a great match. If you want to be even more conservative, fine, 50,000, okay? Which is a lot of people. I don't even have 50,000 people in my audience. And I have gratefully quite a thriving business. With about 10,000 people, I have a thriving business. I really can't take any more fans because it's just. It's. It's enough at this point. And the word of mouth based on 10,000 people, the word of mouth very naturally just keeps growing. And without me really trying to do much other than showing up as authentically as I can consistently with my energy signature, expressing, exploring what that means experimenting, expressing that as best as I can. And so, and so this is what I mean when I say your content is a ministry to those perfect 50,000 people out there for you. The question is whether you want to reach them or not. The question is whether you care enough to have that kind of impact on, on them as something else had on you, where you're like, this thing is so good. I don't understand why other people don't get it. This is so good. Yeah, like I said, I have that experience a lot. And you probably have had that experience too. Think about that experience the next time you experience something that's so good, and then you turn around, you share it, and someone else is like, yeah, it's okay. You're like, oh, my gosh. Okay. This is an example of an energy signature match for me. You have 50,000 people out there like that for whom, when you create content, most of your content is going to be loved by them. It's, it's. Most of your content will feel like a ministry to them because your unique combination of personality, style, life experiences, the trauma you've overcome, the trauma you're still overcoming, the way that you look at the world, the way that you move your body, the way that you move your face, everything about you is the right match for, at least in my opinion, 50,000 people out there for whom your content is a ministry. This is why I'm able to show up so consistently, even in the beginning when I had very, like, almost no likes on any of my videos. I did that for almost a year before I started getting a few more regular likes on my videos. Why? Because I believed, and this is where maybe that's my competitive advantage, is that I kept working on that belief. And I hope you can. Well, this is something everybody can work on. I believe that those 50,000 people are out there. I believe it. And guess what? I'll tell you, the punchline to all this is that you already have one of those 50,000 people. It's you. Yeah. You are your first perfect audience member for your content. When you show up, when you create authentically, when you are willing to tell a story that makes you feel alive. Okay. Or a message that makes you feel really alive, or when you tell a story or share a message that makes you feel vulnerable, but you feel like it's important to share it in service to somebody else that might also be going through the same thing or have gone through the same thing, or will grew through the same thing. When, when you show up for that you feel it, you feel the authenticity of your sharing, that you're not doing it to get followers to sell something, to make money. Now this is something I, I do need to take a moment to, to, to explain. The reason why so many people are not consistent with creating content is because they have such an attachment to the results. Maybe you as well. I don't know. Such an attachment to. If I, George, if I just keep making content, when can I expect to have a full client load? And in three months from now, in a year from now? Tell me when I'm like, you're already coming from an assumption that is going to make it impossible for you to a show up authentically and to show up consistently because you're already attaching content creation or your own creativity. You're attaching it to money. Yeah, you're attaching it to attention, you're fame, you're attaching it to money. And this is instantly, you're already starting on the wrong foot. Therefore it's not sustainable. You're going to fall. So this is what I mean when I say you've got to practice. Work on your belief. Which is why I'm adamantly trying to communicate this to you. If you, if it helps, please watch this again. Work on your belief that those 50,000 people are out there waiting to find you. Or when they do find you, it's going to be like finding an oasis in the desert. It's going to be like they've been parched. You know, they've been parched and then they find beautiful, delicious, drinkable water. It's going to feel like that for them. In the area of expertise that you create content about now, they, they find that quenching of their thirst from many different, you know, in many different areas of their life. But when it comes to your topic, just somehow your personality, your face, your. The way you move your face, the way you move your hands, the way your voice sounds, the way you're. The combination of all that is somehow miraculously right for one out of a hundred thousand people on the Internet for you. And that's 50,000. That's the total of 50,000 people that are just right for you. And your content is a ministry to them. Your content is like an oasis in the desert for them. Because my belief in that is so strong for myself, I kept showing up even when I had no likes on my videos for a year. Not that I didn't have any likes completely in that year, but it was like one, like here, you know, another video, no likes Another video? No, likes. Another video. Oh, one more like here. No, like. No, like, oh, this one got two or three likes. What's going on there? It was like that for a year for me because I kept practicing this belief that. No, I know they're out there. I have faith. It's. Well, guess what? It's. I started with statistics in this video, but it's ultimately an act of faith, an act of trust that if you feel that you have a message to share, if you feel that your story. If you don't feel you have a message to share or a story that's important, well, that's another level of belief and faith that you have to work on, which is believing that your unique soul has a mission. On this planet and these days, in this modern world, much of our mission is fulfilled through creating content. It's just the way the world works now, right? Most of the impact that's happening in the world happens through, well, this one, because we create, we consume content. Everybody consumes so much content every day. That much of the ripple effect of the world, because much of the ripple effect of the world is first starting here. It starts in the. In the change of shift of mind or shift of heart, which then becomes shift of action, which of course becomes shift in the world. Much of that's happening in our modern world through the phone or through the computer or through someone telling you some idea or. Or story that shifts something in you that then shifts your behavior. So much of. For many of us, you know, our mission is fulfilled or incredibly added to when we are able to make an impact with our voice. Not just physical, but, you know, writing, writing voice, or however we create. So, so this is the, the mantra that I gave myself in the beginning. This is. I. I believe that my content is a ministry to a bunch of people out there that don't know about me yet, but they will if I keep showing up. And then, of course, not only do I create, but I also learned how to distribute. Right. Content is king, but distribution is queen. Okay? Not only creating content, but distributing content to as many of the right people as I as possible. The way I do that mostly is through Facebook ads, Instagram ads, LinkedIn ads. That's how I, you know, and through collaborations. But ads is what I found to be the. The easiest way to get the content out to more of the potentially right people. Now, it takes skill to learn to do that. I teach a whole course on Facebook, Instagram ads. I mean, because I learned it so much and I've. I'd say, why? Why aren't people doing this? But essentially, if you learn, if you keep showing up and creating content and then you learn how to distribute your content to more of the right people, well, you are practicing that ministry. I mean, I would even contend and say this, I would even say, comma, imagine that because of how unique you are, maybe the best use of your time in on this earth, the best use of your time is creating. I mean, I should particularly say the best use of your time when it comes to serving other humans. Volunteering. The best use of your service or volunteering time could be to create and distribute your content to more of the right people. Not serving in a soup kitchen, not, you know, I don't know what you do for volunteering and things like that. Right? Building a house, those are all wonderful actions and you know, develop other parts of your soul as well and helps others. But because of how unique you are, your energy signature expressed out there in the world, meeting others and impacting them may literally be the most ripple effect that you can create in this life. Creating and distributing your unique energy signature in your content without attachment to results. Like I said, this is why I can keep showing up. Because I'm like, I don't care. Of course I care. As a business owner, of course I care. If I make money from my efforts, obviously. But with every single piece of content, I don't think, oh bad, this thing better get followers, this thing better know, get money, this thing better get clients. No, with every piece of content, I try to show up with as much purity as I can in exploration and in service. That Venn diagram I often talk about content, the authentic creativity is exploring yourself as deeply as you can and serving as deeply as you can. Do it all, doing it all lightly. But in exploration and in service, and the more you do that, the more authentically powerful you become. And therefore you are able to actually more and more reach. First one, well, you start starting with yourself and then a second one and then the third one and then a tenth one and then a hundredth one. Your ideal audience is out there waiting for you. So show up for them, show up for yourself for sure, because you're the, you're your first ideal client and then showing up not just for you, but for all of them who are waiting for you. So I hope this is helpful. I hope this inspires you to practice that faith in yourself and in your potential yet again. Thanks for watching.
