מהו התנאי הבסיסי לריפוי ומניעה של מחלות? ד״ר גיל יוסף שחר (M.D) CategoryEducationPrivacy configura

In this short Hebrew lecture Dr. Gil Joseph Shachar explains that the key to both preventing and healing acute and chronic illnesses is to keep the body under parasympathetic (rest‑and‑digest) control for the majority of the day. He argues that the parasympathetic nervous system drives toxin clearance, tissue regeneration, and immune function. Using a "tiger" metaphor, he shows how stress (sympathetic activation) redirects physiological resources toward immediate threat response, leaving the body unable to fight ordinary infections such as the flu or to manage chronic inflammation like arthritis. Consequently, people under stress become more susceptible to illness. Shachar concludes that to avoid seasonal illnesses, accelerate recovery, and treat chronic diseases, individuals should structure their daily life to stay in a parasympathetic state as much as possible.
