One of my favorite total body core movements is the Turkish get-up. Here's how you wanna break it down. Your first move— motion is you're going to press this arm with the dumbbell or kettlebell straight up in the air using a little bit of leverage from this outside hand and a lot of abs. Once you get to your hand placement, you're gonna sweep this other leg, the straight one behind you into a kneeling position. And from here, you're going to windmill up using your core and your hip. And then come from that to a standing lunge. This is very important. You have to work your way back down the same way you came, under control. The more control, the better. And there you have it.
