What if you only had seven days to fill your client roster and all you could do is use your existing social media profiles, maybe a tiny email list, and you couldn't get on the phone with anyone, you couldn't do enrollment calls, strategy sessions, nothing like that? Could you do it? Is it even possible? So it is possible. I know because I did it recently. And I'm going to walk you through exactly what that seven days looked like for me. But before I get into it, I need to say right off the bat, this is not a strategy that I created. This is actually from Jonathan Goodman, who runs a website called the ptdc.com I invested in his course earlier this year. It's called Online Trainers Academy. So if you're a fitness coach, I know not everyone watching this will be in that niche, but if you are in that niche, I would highly recommend his course. I can pop the link underneath this video. After I took the course, I got an email from Jonathan and he said, look, I'm putting together this thing called the Founding Client Challenge. And basically what, what the Founding Client Challenge is, is it's a seven day launch. It's sort of a seven day sprint where you're posting three times a day. One of those posts is a Facebook Live. After each post you have a small sort of subtle call to action at the end, which is basically, hey guys, just so you know, I'm putting together a new program. I'm only taking on five clients and these clients will be my founding clients. They're going to get a really big discount in exchange for helping me work out the kinks in becoming case studies, which for when I launch it at the full price, if you're interested, shoot me a message. And on the seventh day, instead of putting out content educational tips, you're just specifically talking about the details of the program. You're saying, hey, enrollment is gonna close today. And you're reaching back out to the people who had messaged you and were interested but hadn't signed up yet. So every time someone messaged me, I asked them some questions, I asked them what their goals were, what their challenges were. And then I'm talking a little bit about the program and sending them the link. So what's cool about this approach is you never have to get on the phone with pot clients. The price points really low. So Jonathan recommended doing a 60 day program for only $197. So it's almost impossible to say no to. I think I had like a 7 out of 10 conversion rate for the people who ended up Messaging me versus if you're on the phone selling higher end coaching at something like $500 per month, you may only convert one out of three, you know, one out of four people into that program. That was the approach. And the idea is that a certain portion of those clients who go through the 60 day program will become full pay, higher end clients, long term clients, and that's when it really becomes profitable. But if you're starting out and you're like, hey, I just need to get some clients, I need to get my hands in there working on my programs, working out the kinks and getting results, I think this is a really good approach. So I'll walk you through now some of the posts that I put out, talk you through the psychology of them, which ones worked and why, and then we'll wrap up. All right, so this is the first post that I posted when I started the challenge, which I believe was a Wednesday. And you'll see that I have this sort of meme like video here. This is a case study video from one of my clients that I worked with last year. And you know, having this headline I think helps it stand out in the feed a little bit, create some curiosity. You'll see I got some good comments and, and got a bunch of messages from this first post. So this first post probably resulted in, you know, two or three clients right off the bat. So if you don't know how to create a case study yet, what I do is once I'm done working with a client, instead of asking them to write a testimonial, I do two things. First, I send them a questionnaire, a feedback form, and then I take their answers and combine them into a written case study. That way it's much more natural. They're just answering questions. And then I run the case study by them at the end. But those questions sort of form a narrative arc, a story about where they were when they came to me, what we worked on together, and what results they got. So this is my first post. You can see at the end here I have a subtle pitch for the program. I say I'm putting together a brand new program starting August 12th. It's specifically for women who want to lose 10 pounds in 60 days. It's a remote coaching program. So I'm sharing a little bit about the program, enough to pique their curiosity, but. But I'm not sharing the price or anything like that. I'm just getting them to comment below or message me. The other posts were things like, you know, I cite a study about weightlifting. So this is just content. But again, at the end, I have this call to action at the end of each of the posts. This is one of the lives that I did. You know, weightlifting is not gonna make you bulky if you're a woman. So dispelling certain myths. I have, you know, a post about what you store your food in. Just little tips in my area of expertise with these subtle calls to action. So maybe the first time someone sees this call to action, they're not going to message me. But you know, I'm posting three times a day for a week. So eventually, if someone wants to lose weight and they're a woman, they're probably going to be intrigued and want to reach out to me. You see, I have another case study video from one of my past clients. I share the story of us working together and I talk about here how things 3 out of the 5 spots I have are already filled. So anytime you have a chance to put a little bit of scarcity, if it's honest scarcity, that's really helpful. And just saying, hey, this is how many people have already signed up gives you some social proof and gives people confidence to reach out. I have a live where I took people inside of my fridge and showed them, you know, what I keep in my fridge and stuff like that just for fun. And you'll see I just have post post posts for the entire week. Once the week was coming to an end. Let's see, I have this longer post, right? And you know, I say I love helping women lose weight and watching their confidence skyrocket. And then I start going over the details of the program, the price, what it's going to be when I launch it officially after this founding clients group. And so this is how I closed the things out. I also have that same last day, I put together some little, you know, case study cards with quotes from past clients. These were all the clients that I featured in the video. So those are what some of the posts look like. I encourage you to take this challenge on your own. Create a new program, launch it, fill it, and then really over deliver for those clients so that they want to keep working with you after the 60 days is over. All right, so hopefully it was interesting to look behind the curtain, see some of the things that I tried over that week. I want to remind you that this stuff isn't magic. It's great to have a strategy and a system that's worked for someone else. But the two things that made this challenge work are, number one, you're posting three times a day. So if you're consistently putting out content, putting yourself out there, that's going to get on people's radar. And number two, you're putting out a very specific offer that people can say yes or no to. It's targeted a specific type of person with a specific problem and, and you're actually saying, you know, reach out to me, message me. You're not just passively posting tips and hoping that people will ask to work with you. So those two factors are going to be key. Anytime you're in a phase where you really want to get more clients. I've been wanting to experiment with working with women more. Right now, the branding for Enough Fitness all has to do with helping guys feel good naked. So I've worked with women in the past, but as I went full time into this new business, I decided let me just focus on guys for a bit. But I'm sensing that I think I would enjoy working with women. I think that women in some ways are more willing to pay for coaching and to lose weight specifically. So working with this group of women will help me know, you know, what I feel about that, whether I want to expand the brand or not. So hope that was helpful. Go out, give it a shot. I don't know if Jonathan's going to be running a challenge like this in the future and if you are in the fitness coaching niche, what I'd recommend you do is just sign up for Online Trainer Academy, which is his main course. I think it's great. It's a really nice back to the basics foundational course and I'm someone who helps coaches get, you know, clients and fill their client roster. So the fact that I signed up for a course like this just to have a good step by step system to keep me focused and on track should say a lot. I will post the link down below and hope you have a great day. Go out, get some clients, take care.
