Today, I want to share something I do with every new coaching client that increases client loyalty. It's just a fun thing to do. And the reality is, if you're putting more intention into your marketing and your sales process than you are into your customer experience, that's a problem, because you're going to be constantly churning through new clients. No one's going to stay on with you. No one's going to refer their friends to you, and that makes it really hard to do business. So I want to share this tactic with you today, and it's something I've been doing for years now. Clients love it, and I'm going to walk you through the whole thing. So what I do is for every new client that I get, I ask them in their intake form what their favorite superhero is. And usually people don't really know why I ask, but the reason I ask is because once they tell me their favorite superhero, I send that over with a headshot of my client that I find on their Facebook profile or their LinkedIn profile to someone I know who does caricatures, and he basically draws their face on the superhero's body. And this is something I've been doing with my existing business, helping coaches get clients. And. And it's also something I've started doing in my new fitness coaching business. And it's actually even more relevant in the fitness coaching business because people are coming to me because they want to change the way that they look. So I get to draw them on these superheroes. And then once I get that back from the artist, I print it out, I cut around the superhero, and then I put it in an envelope, and I send it to them with a. Not a handwritten letter, but a letter that I've created custom to them, addressed to them. I sign it at the bottom, and in that letter, I'm sort of reflecting on why they came to me, why they started this journey, what excited me about working with them. And then I package it up, I send it over to them, and it's a really nice personal touch to do at the beginning of a coaching engagement. And a big part of coaching is the ICU factor. Just the idea of having someone know, hey, I'm your coach. I see you. I see your strengths, and I see what you want. I see where you hide a little bit, and I want you to be successful. So if you're not doing that with new clients, I highly recommend either sending a book or doing something like I do and getting a caricature done of them. And then what's cool is I put all of those portraits on my wall and I get to see them every day and I can keep my clients in mind. So just a suggestion and an idea to help you deliver a great experience with your clients. Because it's not enough to have great marketing. It's not enough just to have good coaching skills. You also need to know how to make that experience a special one. Hope that was helpful. This is the last journal entry for Coaching Business Bootcamp because this was the last week of boot camp.
