Doing Videos For Your Business

A short first-person vlog by Gunnar Hussain encouraging business owners to start making video content despite fear and perfectionism. He emphasizes that simple tools (e.g., an iPhone on a selfie stick) are sufficient, cites the mentor advice "version 1.0 is far better than 0.0," and frames regular video posting as a way to build know-like-trust, generate leads, and increase sales. The clip closes with requests for comments, topic suggestions, and engagement.
Hi, Gunnar Hussain here, coming at you from Paul's call in South Wales. It's a beautiful sunny day that. Well, actually, the sun's setting behind me. But, yeah, I'm having a fantastic day. And what I really want to do is ask you a question. And the question is, do you do videos for your business?
Yeah.
Do you do videos for your business? Now, the reason why I asked that question is because video is something I struggled with for a long time. You know, I. Whether it was because of fear, getting myself out there, or whether, you know, trying to be perfect, trying to have the most expensive equipment to do my videos, or making sure that my videos are in 1080p and having my ducks lined up in the road, basically, you know, are you facing the same thing? Well, let me tell you something, because right now I've just got my iPhone on a selfie stick and guess what? Well, let me tell you a secret. This video is my first ever video from my blog, GunnarHussain.com Now, I don't know where you're seeing this video from. It might be on Facebook or YouTube or maybe you're on my blog. But it's my first video for my blog and it's something I should have done three, four years ago. Are you having the same problem? Because I've heard the saying once, and I think it was from my mentor, Ray Higdon. He may have got it from somebody.
Else.
But he said version 1.0 is far better than 0.0, meaning that you just have to make a start. Maybe you're looking at other marketers, you know, top marketers online, you know, how they do videos and how everything is perfect. And look, they didn't start out that way. They didn't start out perfect.
Yeah.
They probably did 100 takes to start with. Maybe you're looking at me right now and you're saying, well, you know, that good. It's not bad. Well, let me tell you something. I've done videos in the past, but guess what? I never posted a single thing on my blog or social media. What stopped me? Fear. Trying to be perfect. Don't fall into the same trap. Make a start. Post your video. And don't just post one video, but make it a habit because, you know, people want to see that you're a real person behind that website of yours.
Yeah.
You've got so much knowledge and information.
Right.
Doing a video is one of the most effective ways of getting that across.
Yeah.
And you, in the end, you'll get people to know, like, and trust you and that's what you want. Yeah. And then that would turn into leads and then it will turn into sales. You'll actually start making money doing this stuff. Okay? So I want you to take action. I hope you found this video helpful. As I say, it's my first video.
Yeah.
If you liked it, please, please comment and share. And also what I want to know is now that I've made the step start on my blog is I want you to comment, I want you to ask me questions, you know, what kind of content would you like me to provide for you? What kind of value would you like me to give? What are you struggling on? Is it marketing? Is it mindset or any of those things?
Yeah.
So with that again, hope you found it helpful. This is Gunnir Hussain and have a wonderful day.
Bye. Bye.
