A demon in Acts 16 told the truth about Paul, accurately revealing intimate details about his life. The speaker argues that accurate knowledge doesn't prove something is from God, it can come from demonic sources too. Discernment matters when evaluating supernatural claims.
Because someone gives you a word about a family in a different country, be careful. People always say, well, did it come true? They told me something nobody knew. They knew my situation. They called my name. They knew what I was going through exactly. That's right. Word for word, verbatim. They predicted something that already happened in my life. And we immediately, immediately conclude that it must be God. That had to be God. Acts 16 says not necessarily. Because this woman possessed information that was correct while operating from a source Paul ultimately confronted.
