In this brief YouTube Shorts sermon, the speaker asserts that personal identity is not something humans earn or construct, but something they receive from God. Citing Genesis 1:27, the speaker emphasizes that humanity was created in the image of God, with both male and female fashioned by Him. From the outset, identity was bestowed by the Creator, intended for humans to reflect God’s character rather than replace Him. The message repeats the core idea that our purpose is to mirror God, underscoring a theological view that identity is a divine gift, not a self-made achievement.
