A plane flying through storm clouds breaks into sunshine above. The speaker uses this to argue that God's light exists beyond your desperation, waiting above the clouds. You don't need the storm to end, just a shift in perspective to see it.
You cannot access finished kingdom realities from a posture of desperation. Here's the airplane illustration I need to give everybody. Picture flying through a storm on the ground. Yeah. Picture this. Picture flying through a storm on the ground, dark skies, pounding rain, lightning. As the plane climbs through thick storm clouds, suddenly brilliant, Sunshine floods the cabin. The sun didn't start shining when you broke through. Amen. It was shining all along above the storm.
