How do you invest your mind's currency? Who controls your wandering thoughts? Possibility, fear, regret, expectation, pain, and imagination. Then you had better know who's controlling the conversation when your mind arrives at that destination. Who's controlling the conversation? Now I want to be biblically correct, so let us be biblically and mentally responsible. Now hear me carefully this morning: every negative thought is not Satan. Every uncomfortable thought is not a demon. Every memory is not spiritual warfare. Sometimes you're tired. Sometimes you're grieving. Sometimes you're wounded, you're hurting, you're depleted, you're exhausted. Sometimes you are processing trauma. Sometimes your emotions are reacting to something real. Sometimes your flesh is talking. Sometimes your mind simply produces an unwanted Thought. Don't become afraid of your own mind. You don't have to be. And don't condemn yourself because an unwanted thought appeared without permission. Now, here is the issue. Whatever the source, if a thought contradicts the truth of God, Listen to me. If a thought contradicts the truth of God, you don't have to agree with it. Amen.
