Genesis 1:26 reveals God gave humanity sovereign authority over Earth, not just power. Humans bind and loose outcomes in the divine realm through their choices. The world's state reflects whether we fulfill our role as kingdom agents.
You can trace this back to Genesis chapter 1, verse 26, back to its original Hebrew, and it reveals an entirely different dimension of what God was actually saying. And God said, let us make a species called man in our own nature and character, and let them have dominion. Let them have kingdom and royal power and sovereign rulership Over planet Earth. Sovereignty— God transferred it to both Adam and Eve. Sovereignty is not simply power. It is the final word on how outcomes are determined. Whoever holds sovereignty holds the keys to what happens. A portion of that divine final word, that final authority, was deliberately Handed to humanity. The scriptural record records and confirms whatever you bind on earth is bound, whatever you loose on earth is loosed. The initiative rests with you. Earth's administration was placed into human hands from the very beginning. You are not a bystander. You are the designated authority in this realm. Therefore, you have kingdom authority. This means the condition of things on earth is not entirely a divine mystery. It is in, in large part a reflection of whether the authorized agents are operating in their assignment.
