In this brief sermon, the speaker emphasizes that a key sign of the Holy Spirit’s presence is its guidance toward purpose. Using the narrative from Acts chapter 8, he illustrates how the Spirit directed Philip to approach the Ethiopian eunuch’s chariot. Philip’s obedience to this divine prompting opened the way for the eunuch to hear the gospel, an event that would ultimately influence an entire nation. The message underscores the connection between the Holy Spirit’s leading, human obedience, and the broader impact of the gospel.

The 3rd mark that the Holy Spirit lives in you is that he leads you into purpose. Acts chapter 8 tells the story of Philip and, and this Ethiopian eunuch. Philip, man, this is a blessing because the angel of the Lord told Philip to go south to a desert road. And then in verse 29, it says the Spirit said to Philip, go near and overtake this chariot. Philip obeyed, and that obedience opened the door for one man to hear the gospel and for an entire nation to be impacted through that one act.
