If a gift, whether a prophet, a pastor, an apostle, or a teacher, or an evangelist, pulls you away from Jesus, instead of drawing you nearer to him, it is a sound that must be declined respectfully. And I say that respectfully, and I say that graciously, but we must say that firmly, not with harshness or dishonor, but with discernment that says that word does not carry the testimony of Jesus. As a man or woman of God, test every sound.
