1:31
Jesus prayed in Gethsemane by surrendering to God's will, not demanding his own. Real prayer power comes from alignment with heaven, not from how loud you pray or how much you control the outcome.

Jesus prayed in Gethsemane by surrendering to God's will, not demanding his own. Real prayer power comes from alignment with heaven, not from how loud you pray or how much you control the outcome.
Jesus himself gives us the model in Gethsemane. He says, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done. Now think about that. If Jesus in his humanity, because Jesus was both divine and human, if Jesus in his humanity prayed with surrender to the Father's will, then who are we to pray like our will should override the throne of God? Prayer is not weak because it submits. Prayer is powerful because it depends. Let me say that again. Prayer is not weak because it submits. Prayer is powerful because it depends. Prayer is not weak because it submits. Prayer is powerful because it depends. Say that. The power of prayer is not in the sound of your voice. It is in the God who hears you. And some people have confused loudness with authority, but authority does not come from volume. Authority comes from alignment. You can scream and still be out of line. You can whisper and still be in perfect agreement with heaven.
