In this brief faith‑based sermon, the speaker argues that true spiritual sustenance comes not from physical food but from obeying God’s commands. Using the biblical scene where Jesus is fed by his disciples yet had already been nourished by the Father, the speaker illustrates that obedience provides a fullness no restaurant can match. He expands the concept of “feeding” to include actions such as making a difficult phone call, extending forgiveness, or finally acting on a long‑delayed obedience. The central claim is that obedience itself is the meal God intends for believers, and missing this “meal” is a result of limiting the idea of food to literal meals alone.

Your next meal may be the thing God told you to do. Let that stick with you one moment. I need you to lean in. He just had this 30-minute conversation with this woman, getting her in alignment with his Father, and then finds out— we find out that this was the meal all along, doing the will of the Father. He had just spoke to her, and hear me carefully, There's a way to be fed that has nothing to do with what you have on your plate, beloved. There is a meal that comes through your hands when you do what God told— when you do what God told you to do. There is a fullness that arrives on the other side of obedience that no restaurant can serve you. The disciples brought Jesus lunch. The Father had already fed him before they even arrived. And this is where most of us, most of us are missing meals, not because the food is not there, but because we have only one category for food. Food. One category for food is all we have. We think feeding is what happens when we sit down with a Bible and a cup of coffee in the mornings. And I'm not giving anyone a hard time. I'm just, I'm just a messenger. I'm just a postman delivering the message, delivering the mail. And that can be feeding, but it is not The only feeding. Sometimes the feeding is the phone call you have been avoiding. Sometimes the feeding is the forgiveness you've been postponing. Sometimes the feeding is the obedience you've been negotiating with for 6 months. Obedience is not the price you pay for the meal.
