Harry Pitts, Tracy Pitts, and Pastor Keith teach that God provides provision and instructions, but believers must act. They emphasize that every dollar needs a job, saving is seed not the finish line, and faith requires obedience, not confession alone.

Look forward to talking.
Teaching on a series on Christian economics, and we're not done. We're going to continue. We're going to pick this up. I was going to teach on a specific subject, but no, the Lord said, no, I need you to teach on this, because there's some erroneous doctrine.
Yes.
Some teachings that are not necessarily accurate, and God wants it to be corrected. There's this metaphysical philosophy that people believe that if you name it and claim it, that it just happens. No, it doesn't Work like that. Unfortunately, Pastor Keith, it just doesn't work like that.
That's right.
And today, if you're watching us and you hear this, this word is not only for you, but it's for everybody that's in this church today.
Amen.
And the word is spoken in love, not in anger, not in rage, but to increase you. I believe that this word is going to be profound. It's going to bless your socks today, and there are going to be principles that we're going to cover today. And if you follow these principles and you're obedient to God, this will give you kingdom success. Because I want to say, a lot of people confess God, but they do not follow his principles. They declare, but they do not build disciplines.
Yes.
So, they stay Frustrated, Pastor Keith.
And then they blame God for why things are not working the way they should. Let's make it simple.
Here's the truth: God does not only give provision; He gives instructions. So don't blame Him.
Listen to His instructions. If you wonder why the bicycle falls apart at Christmas time, it's because you didn't read the instructions on how to put it together.
Amen. You think that R on the car means reverse when it means something else.
You have to read the instructions.
You may think that that M on your car means something else.
And when you press the M, the car doesn't start. You have to read the instructions.
Teach, teach.
So God works through patterns and principles.
Not just patterns and principles, but he works through his promises as well. And we need to talk about stewardship this morning. Just a portion of it. I'm not going to be on that long because we've already been teaching on that. We've got to start talking about this and teaching, and we need to be radical about this.
People think that when you start talking about finances that you shouldn't talk about finances in church.
Well, I disagree with you.
A lot of the New Testament, Jesus talked about financial principles. Sowing and reaping.
Those are financial principles.
What do I mean by stewardship? In the New Testament, the word for steward is the word oikonomos. You spell that O-I-K-O-N-O-M-O-S. Oikonomos. It means A house manager. Not an owner, a manager. A steward is someone trusted to handle what belongs to someone else.
Amen.
A steward is someone trusted to handle what belongs to someone else. So stewardship is simple, Minister Ophelia.
It is very simple.
Everything God puts in your hands has an assignment.
Teach, teach.
Everything God puts in your hands, everything God puts in your hands has an assignment. If you do not give it an assignment, it will drift.
Mm.
That includes money. That includes gifts.
That includes opportunities.
A simple money rule. I need you to write this down. A simple money rule.
Write this down.
You that are listening and watching online, God bless you. Thank you for tuning in. Thank you for listening. And if you listen to this, I promise you, I promise you, I have complete confidence in God's word that your life will change indefinitely.
Amen.
Here's a simple money rule. Every dollar needs a job. Every dollar needs a job. A job does not have to be spend. A job can be save, pay down debt, invest in skill. A job can be give, support your household, but it has to be intentional.
Amen.
Now let's anchor this In the text, Matthew chapter 25 says, the master gave talents to every man according to his several ability. That phrase, according to his ability, is important.
I need you to listen to me.
Matthew 25 says, the master gave talents to every man According to his several ability, because that phrase according to his ability is important. The Greek word, Greek word there is the word dynamis. You spell that D Y N A M I S.
So pastor, what does that mean? I'm glad you asked.
It means capacity. Ability, power to carry, power to produce. Dynamis, or dunamis, and some, some people pronounce, but dynamis, D-Y-N-A-M-I-S.
Dynamis, it means capacity.
The ability to be able to hold or to carry it.
The ability, the power to carry it, the power to produce.
So God is not playing favorites. He's measuring your capacity. Did you hear me?
Yes.
I said God is measuring your capacity. Stay with me. He entrusts based on what you can manage.
Yes.
God will entrust you based on what you can manage.
Amen.
That is why the text is not mainly about money, so don't get it twisted. That text is not about money, mainly about money. It is about stewardship.
It is about responsibility.
It is about faithfulness with what is in your hand, Pastor Keith.
Amen.
Body of Christ, leaders, it is what is in your hand.
Now watch what the faithful servants do. The Bible says they went and traded. That verb is a work word. It means it is action, it is effort, It is movement. They went and traded. They did not confess over the money and bury it. I'll tell you, man, I've read things on social media where people just say, pray it, I believe God will give it to me.
Okay, fine. Let's tell me how that works out for you.
And he will, but there are principles you have to follow. These servants didn't pray. They didn't confess over the money and then bury it. They worked it. They managed it. They multiplied it.
Amen.
And the one talent servant did the opposite. He had one talent. He did the opposite. He buried it. He froze it.
Here is the correction for the church: saving is not fear; saving is wisdom.
But burying in fear is not wisdom. There's a difference between storing with purpose and hiding in panic. The Bible affirms this: storing. God talks about this in Proverbs 21:20. says there is a treasure in the house of the wise, but the foolish spend it up. Proverbs says wisdom keeps something back.
Yes.
It preserves something.
But Jesus also warns against fear-based hoarding. Luke chapter 12 shows a man who stored, But he stored without God, without purpose, without generosity, and without humility. So, the issue is not store or do not store. The issue is stewardship.
There's that word again, stewardship.
That's right.
Let me clean it up. Let me clean this up. Let me clean it up because there's a big misunderstanding. Some people think faith means you ignore how money works. Let me clean that up.
No. Faith means you honor God's ways.
Amen.
I need to clean that up because folks have been teaching that wrong.
And I'm not here to put anyone on blast.
Not at all. We just need to correct this. There are a lot of things that I know 514 Grace Church has to correct as it relates to the body of Christ, because there's a lot of doctrine and emotion that's being taught, but we need to teach the whole counsel of God.
Amen.
We can hoop and hack, and there's nothing wrong with those things, but there has to be some intellect to this.
There has to be some teaching to this. We can no longer afford to play games, these emotional radical games where people walk in the same and they leave out the same, Pastor Keith.
Right.
Amen. That makes sense.
Faith means you honor God's ways. Here's a plain fact: money sitting—
I need you to hear this. When the Lord spoke this to me, my goodness, man, it, it just, it blew my mind. I said, Lord have mercy, Jesus. I said, Father, this is accurate in what you're saying. Listen at this. Make it plain and simple.
Money sitting still loses power over time when prices rise. When the money is sitting, it loses its power over time when prices rise. So stewardship is not only saving, stewardship is learning. Stewardship is growing capacity. Stewardship is becoming wise with what God put in your hands.
Amen.
So you have to invest, or you have to, you have to multiply what God is giving you. So if the money is sitting there and it's doing nothing, as prices increase, that money loses its power over time.
Now let's deal with the lie directly. Let's deal with this. I've got to deal with the elephant in the room because confessions are powerful.
Do you guys agree with me?
If you do, say amen.
Amen.
Amen.
I know, I know I've took—
taken you down and dunked you, but hear me. We're going to bring you up a little bit and let you breathe and catch your breath. Ah, confession is powerful. Now I need you to hear me. But confession is agreement, not a substitute.
Ah.
Confession is agreement. It is not a substitute.
Let me, let me bring this closer for you.
The New Testament word for the word confess means to agree with, to say the same thing. It is the Greek word homologeo, which means to say the same thing, which means to agree with. So confession is what? Alignment. It is the start of obedience, not the replacement of obedience. This is why James, in the book of James, when James speaks, this hits so hard to me when James talks about Faith in works. This hits hard. Faith, if it hath not works, is dead being alone. Not later. Faith has to be active. It has to be actionable. It has to be right now. So here is how we apply it. If we confess God is my provider, then stewardship shows up and it looks like You track what you spend because you're managing. You save something consistently because you are preparing. You cut waste because you are serious. You learn because you want your capacity to grow. You give because you trust God and you refuse greed.
Amen.
So you can pray till you're blue in the face, but if you do not get up and go in that kitchen, your children will starve.
Actionable.
It has to be actionable. God wants active faith. If it is not active, it is dead. I've, I've read this all over social media. I've watched people make statements and it's just, it blows my mind. That they think God, God gives you seed like God is going to come down to heaven and plant the seed for you.
Teach, teach.
Now I want to say this in love, Pastor Keith. I want to say this in love. If you want increase, you have to increase capacity.
You do not get to hate on people with more results.
Don't get upset with me, please. Just hear me out. Everyone hear me out. You do not get to hate on people with more results. You do not get to resent people with more fruit. You don't get to do that. The text says this. You gotta have some action. You gotta put some feet to your faith.
Amen.
Action. Action.
The text says God gives according to ability.
We just read that.
Isn't that what the scripture says? God gave to them according to what? Ability. So if you want more, build ability. And ability is not only talent. Ability includes discipline. Ability includes consistency. Ability includes financial literacy. Ability includes emotional maturity. Ability includes work ethic. Let me make it simple with these examples. If you want a better job, faith does not stop at prayer.
Oh, please.
Please tell me you love me. I'm— I've gotta preach it the way God gives it to me.
Faith adds skill.
Amen.
Faith upgrades the resume.
Faith.
Now you can pray till you're blue in the face, but if you have a resume that's 3 years old and you go and apply for that job and you take that 3-year-old resume thinking that it's gonna work, tell me how that works out for you. Faith improves the interview skills. Faith becomes dependable upon God. If you want financial peace, faith does not stop at declarations.
That's right.
Faith doesn't stop at declarations.
Faith learns a budget. Faith tells money where to go because money needs a job. Oh, I'm gonna bring it home. We're gonna make it clear. Let me hit the gas a little bit.
I gotta get moving on this because I need to get someplace.
Faith tells money where to go. Faith stops leaks. Faith builds margin. If you want God to trust you with more, you have to show you can manage what is already in your hand.
Amen.
Luke 16:10 says, faithful in little, faithful in much. If you want much, you must show God that you can manage what is already in your hand. So you don't get to be upset with someone because God is blessing them. They are being blessed because there's a purpose. That is a principle, Pastor Keith. God promises travel through. God promises increase through his principles. Now here's the part where we bind and loose. We do it correctly. And I've read someone talking about binding and loosening.
Here's I need you to get this.
This is where we understand binding and loosening correctly. In Jesus' name, we bind ignorance. In Jesus' name, we bind avoidance. In Jesus' name, we bind impulse, laziness, the lie that planning is fear. We bind the lie that confession replaces obedience. In Jesus' name, we loose wisdom, discipline, clarity, diligence, and learning. We loose faithfulness, good stewardship that God can bless.
Amen.
That's how you utilize binding.
Binding and loosening. So I talked about promises. I talked about principles.
Teach, teach, teach.
I talked about these things. Now we're going to get to the crux of the message. What is a promise? Because people talk about the principles of God, the promises of God, the patterns of God.
You hear this. being taught, but Pastor Keith, it's not clear.
It's a little bit hazy.
Right.
There's noise. There's static. What is a promise according to the Word of God? A promise is what God commits to do because of his character and covenant.
A promise is not a shortcut.
Promises are invitations to obedience, to God's Word. So when God promises provision, peace, or increase, he is not telling you to sit still. He is telling you to trust him and walk in his way.
Amen.
So now we understand what a promise is. God says, I promise to bless you, but you can't sit still.
Amen.
So what is a pattern? A pattern is how God usually works. And it's important, it is imperative that you listen to this, that you go back and you rehearse this and you replay this. Those that are watching us online and, and social media, please hear me.
This is key.
This is going to equal success in your life. What is a pattern? A pattern is how God usually works. It is the process God repeats in Scripture. God gives a word, then he gives instructions, then he blesses obedience. That is the pattern. God gives a word, then he gives the steps. After, after you receive the steps, there is fruit that follows.
Amen.
What is a principle? And you have to work all of these. What is a principle?
A principle is how God built life to work.
It is called—
it is cause and effect that God designed.
It is that cause and effect design that God is utilizing in the life of every believer. Because diligence produces profit.
Amen.
Planning produces stability.
Seedtime produces harvest.
Debt produces bondage. Generosity opens supply.
That's not hustle culture. That's not hustle culture. These are principles, patterns, promises that we have to follow. What I just told you is biblical wisdom.
Amen.
Now let me tell you what faith is not.
Let me tell you what faith is not.
Faith is not pretending. Faith is not denial. Faith is not quoting verses while ignoring instructions. Faith is not using Scripture like a magic phrase to bypass discipline. Faith is trust that shows up. Faith agrees with God, and then faith moves in God's direction.
So here, here's where I need to make it very clear because I need you to remember this.
Promises tell you what God wants to do. Amen.
Amen.
Principles tell you how God expects you to walk. Patterns show you how God usually brings it to pass. And when you hold all 3, you stop living in frustration.
Amen.
You stop blaming God.
Yes.
You stop chasing prophetic words that never turn into practical steps. You're chasing prophecies, looking for a prophetic word.
Apply the principles, the patterns, the promises, and it will work for you every single time.
Amen.
You, you grow up and you wonder why things are not working in my life.
And those that grow up in spiritual maturity and faith, Guess what?
God can trust them with more.
You can declare a promise daily, but faith without corresponding action is dead. There has to be a corresponding action. James says it plainly: faith without works is what? Dead. Here is the simplest example that I can give. You cannot confess harvest and refuse to plant seed. Scripture teaches seedtime and harvest. God gives seed, but he does not come down from heaven and plant it for you.
That's right.
Seed only becomes harvest when it is what?
Sown.
So, when God promises provision, peace, or increase, he's not telling you to to sit still. He is telling you to trust him and walk in his way. And this is why Jesus' parable matters. It makes sense. The servant who hid the talent was not judged for having less. He was judged for doing nothing with what he was given. The talent was taken and given to the one who put it to work.
Amen. That's cool.
That is what economists call compounding growth.
It's an economic word, compounding growth. Increase follows stewardship, Pastor Keith.
Multiplication follows management. God blesses what you build, not what you bury. We must have actionable faith.
Yes.
I taught about savings. Saving is seed. Now we must teach on the principles of growth. We can save, but we must do something with it.
That is called compound growth.
That is what you want to call in, in theology, the law of multiplication. We need actionable faith. I taught you about saving because saving is in fact seed.
Now we have to teach principles of growth.
Saving is not the finish line.
Let me be clear about that.
Saving is not the finish line. It's the starting point. You save and then you store it, what you saved. When you put seed to work, it multiplies.
multiplies. That's called compound growth. The law of multiplication.
Amen.
So we need to be clear about this. I want you to look at this pattern that's in the Word of God.
We can't just sit back and make statements and declare text, scripture after scripture, without following God's instructions. God had had provision for Elijah. Hear me, he had provision for Elijah, but he had to go to a certain brook is what the word says. Moses was told to strike the rock, and the following time he was instructed to speak to the rock. But both of these responses required action.
That's right.
Look at the pattern in the Word of God. God had provision for Elijah, but Elijah still had to go to the brook God assigned. God had water for Israel, but Moses had to respond the way God commanded. One moment required a strike in the rock, another moment required speaking to it. Same God, same power.
Different instructions.
And in both cases, the breakthrough was tied to obedience in action.
Teach, teach.
Here's a pattern in scripture. God's provision is real, but his provision often has instructions attached to it.
The miracle is not only in God's power, It is in your obedience to God's directives. Let me deal with Elijah. Elijah is a very beautiful, splendid, clean example. Let me go slow.
God promised provision during the drought.
Amen.
But Elijah still had to go where God said.
The text is very specific.
In 1 Kings chapter 17, verses 2 through 4, God told him to turn eastward. Told him to turn eastward and hide by the brook Cherith.
1 Kings chapter 17, verses 2 through 4.
God told him to turn eastward. told him where to go. He said— he didn't say turn northward. He said turn what?
Eastward.
And I need you to go to the brook of Cherith.
Amen.
Verse 4 says, thou shalt drink of the brook, and I've commanded the ravens to feed thee there. That word there matters. Provision was promised to Elijah. So we talked about promises. Provision was promised to Elijah.
Amen.
Hear me, body of Christ.
Hear me, 514 Grace Church.
But it was connected to a location and instruction. Elijah could not stay where he was and claim what God had assigned to him there.
Teach, teach, teach.
You're standing right here and you're making declarations and you're claiming what God says is yours, but what is yours is in a different demographic, different location. Provision was promised, but it was connected to a location and the instructions that God gave the prophet. Elijah could not stay where he was and claim what God assigned to there. What is the there in your life?
Here's another example.
Moses is another clean example, and we need to say this accurately. In Exodus chapter 17, verses 5 through 6, God told Moses to strike the rock and water came out.
Amen.
But later in Numbers 20, verse 8, God told Moses to speak to the rock. Moses struck the rock instead, and water still came out. But Moses disobeyed the instruction and faced consequences in Numbers 20, verse 12.
Amen.
So the point is not that Moses needed more faith. The point is that obedience is not generic.
Amen.
Yeah, you cannot recycle yesterday's instruction for today's situation. Same God, different instructions. What worked yesterday is not going to work today.
Amen. Ah.
Same God, different instruction.
So now let's pull the principle out of the text.
God's Word gives promises, but God's voice gives instructions.
Promises tell you what God will do.
Yes.
Did you hear me? Promises tell you what God will do for you.
Instructions tell you what you must do next. That is why confession matters, but confession is not enough by itself. Now let's deal with the lie directly.
Confession is powerful, but confession is an agreement; it's not a substitute. So now you start to see this and you start to understand what I'm saying.
The New Testament word for confess is the word homologeo. It means to agree, to say the same thing.
I said that earlier. So, confession is alignment. There's a problem we have to correct. People treat confession like a replacement for obedience.
They use Scripture like a bypass.
They think Scripture—
or confession is the panacea for all their problems.
Right.
They think saying it cancels Doing it, but scripture will not allow that. James chapter two verse seventeen says faith faith if it hath not what works is dead being alone. That is a present reality. Faith that never becomes action is not biblical faith. It is unfinished faith. So here's the line that should. That needs to land on your notepad. Confession is the moment you agree with God.
Whoo!
Confession is the moment you agree with God.
Obedience is the moment you act with God. And faith is when agreement turns into action.
Let me say that again. Confession is the moment you agree with God.
Obedience is the moment you act with God. And faith is the moment—
faith is when agreement turns into action. It comes alive. It becomes animated. You get to see this thing happen.
Amen.
Now let me give you the depth of this revelation without forcing the truth. When Elijah moved to there, the ravens were already commanded.
Meaning God often sets provision in motion before you even arrive.
Wow. Yes. Yes, yes.
Yes.
But you do not experience what is already in motion until you move into alignment. So, the issue is not whether God can provide. The issue is whether you will follow the instruction that positions you for the provision.
That is where this becomes practical, not judgmental.
We're not judging We're not saying you are a bad Christian if you struggled. We are saying you cannot pray around principles God requires you to practice.
Yes.
Amen.
If it is safe to say it, I gotta say it.
So please, just listen to me. Don't get upset. Just hear me. I'm telling you, your life will change. You'll be blessed. Let me give you the clean version. Let God's principles become your employee. Let me say that again. Let God's principles become your employee. Put them to work for you.
Principles will pay you back if you work them Amen. Let God's principles become your employee because they'll pay you back if you work them consistently.
Yes, it's true. This is true.
We will keep confessing the Word, but we will also do the Word because God blesses what we build, not what we bypass.
Think about that. I want that to sink in. I want that to sink in. Let's follow the same pattern. Let's draw out the revelation about this employee, this principal. Let's draw it out. We need that moment where the light comes on today. God's principles become your employee. You need to put them to work for you.
Principles will pay you back, but you have to be consistent.
I need this light to come on. And I want to give you guys 3 powerful revelations that's gonna bless you. Revelation number 1, the blessing has an address.
Amen.
If you allow the principles to become your employee, the principles will deliver the blessing to the address. 1 Kings chapter 17, verse 4, I've commanded the ravens to feed thee there.
Amen.
The blessing has an address, but you must be at the destination. God told Elijah, he said, go eastward, turn eastward. If you want provision, there's a brook that's going to water you. While everyone thirsts, you will have water. You'll have provision. You'll have food. But you must go eastward. There is an address for the blessing.
Yes.
God's provision was not floating in the air. It was assigned to a place of obedience. The ravens were not just commanded to feed Elijah. They were commanded to feed him—
what?
There, not over there. They were commanded to feed him That's right. If God told you to budget, that there is the budget. If God told you to cut waste, that there is discipline. If God told you to learn, that there is education to gain skill, to gain knowledge. God says, I need you to go there to that technical Institute because I'm preparing you, and the address for your blessing is at that technical institute because there's going to be someone there that's going to pay for all of your college tuition, and you will not have to pay a dime.
Someone watching me—that's a word for you.
Stop asking God to bless where you are when He told you. Where to go? God just blessed me right here. God said, "No, I told you to go to this location because this lady has a check she wants to give you for five thousand dollars.
But you want to sit there? Please bless me." God said, "Lord have mercy! I've I told them.
I woke them up out of their sleep." I told you to go to this address. Right.
And this person answers the door and said, I saw you in a dream, and this voice told me that I need to give you a check for $5,000. And as a result of them blessing you with a check for $5,000, God now comes and has someone To pay off the mortgage on their home, but your tuition money is not where you're standing.
Your tuition money is there. So stop asking God to bless where you are when He told you where to go. Yesterday's instructions.
Instructions are not today's strategy.
Exodus 17, verse 6: Strike the rock. Numbers 20, verse 8: Speak to the rock. Here's the revelation: same need, same water, same God, same power, but different instructions. Moses failed when he reused an old method for a new moment. He failed. God told him the first time to strike the rock. Then he tells him to speak to the rock. So he got upset with the people and he reverted back to an old strategy. And as a result of that, he missed the Promised Land. The Promised Land.
Yes.
Same needs, same war.
Same God, same power, different instruction. Moses failed by using an old method for a new moment. Some of you keep doing what, what used to work and calling it faith.
You're doing what used to work and you're calling it faith, but faith is not repeating routines.
It is responding to God's current instruction.
You cannot use yesterday's spending habits and expect tomorrow's stability. You cannot keep the same circle, the same group of individuals, the same people that have no faith and saying, it's going to be okay. You're going to be fine.
No.
You just keep repeating and recycling the same habits.
Yes.
Same principles from yesterday, the same leaks, the same lack of planning, and still demand a new outcome, and you're calling it faith. God's way is updated. Hear me, God's way is updated. Your obedience has to be updated.
If God's way is updated, your obedience has to be updated. Pastor Keith, the miracle isn't only provision, it's productivity.
The Bible says in Matthew 25:16, then he had— then he that had received the 5 talents—
Matthew 25:16—
then he that hath received the 5 talents went and traded with the same and made them other 5 talents. He multiplied it. The master did not bless the servant for owning money. He blessed him for putting it to work. Actionable faith.
That's right.
The miracle in the parable is not just receiving. It is responsibility. Increase came from stewardship, not from possession.
Amen.
God is not only trying to put money in your hand, he's trying to put wisdom in your habits, because money in the wrong habits disappears, but money in the right habits multiplies. Saving is not the finish line. Saving is seed.
Amen.
Seed is not meant to be admired. It's not meant—
excuse me.
Seed is not meant to be admired.
It is meant to be managed.
Amen.
And as I hasten to a close, when you put seed to work, it becomes compound growth.
Amen.
Now, I need to tie this all together. And I need to make this hit. Let God's principles become your employee. Put them to work. When you follow God's ways, and you follow his patterns, and you do exactly what he says, you get the results. And you don't apply the principles, and you have this It's metaphysical ideology that things are just going to drop out of the sky because you make a declaration or you make a statement. Right, right, right. And there is no action to that.
Mm-hmm.
You can pray for increase and sit at home.
Yes.
And if you don't go and work a job, increase is not going to show up.
Teach, teach.
Now people say, Pastor, now the Bible talks about a man that must take care of his family, be responsible.
Yeah.
Jesus gave us the principle, the talents.
You have those virgins that were wise and those that were unwise.
Which one are you? You can't expect increase when you're not sowing seed. The promise is real. The principle is the pathway. If you want what God promised, you have to work what God prescribed.
Yes.
So we have our formula. We have it.
Stewardship.
We have faith. We have the principles. We have the patterns. We have the promises. But we cannot sit back and apply old information and expect new results.
Amen.

Forgive me of my sins. I denounce wrongdoing. I denounce Satan. And I accept you, Jesus, as my personal Lord and Savior.

This nation flows with the Spirit's flame. Discerning the spirits, we expose the game. Prophets of fire, eyes full of flame, declaring righteousness in Jesus' name. Fire shut up in my bones, I can't stay quiet. Prophet voices rise, we break the riot. Miracles, signs, and wonders on display, preaching what Jesus would say. We are the prophets of fire.
